Inside Gwyneth Paltrow's Night at the Apple Store

Gwyneth Paltrow was in tech guru mode yesterday to visit the SoHo Apple store in NYC.

Gwyneth Paltrow was in tech guru mode yesterday to visit the SoHo Apple store in NYC. She had the help of her friend Jessica Seinfeld during an hour-long Q&A session about the new Goop City Guides app, which has tips for visitors to NYC, LA, and London. Gwyneth and Jessica tried to focus on business and not laugh too much during the conversation, but Gwyneth quipped about why that would be a challenge. She said, "We are usually stoned. So . . ." Later more giggles were brought on when Jessica said that Gwyneth's most-used word — the F word — has a special place in the Goop app. Gwyneth explained that the expletive is the heading for the "Emergencies" section on her app that has local details on hospitals, doctors, and emergency contacts.

Yesterday's Goop chat was a much more casual atmosphere compared to Gwyneth and Jessica's big night out the evening before. Gwyneth donned a bold pink Valentino gown to attend Monday night's star-studded Met Gala in NYC. If you missed out on fashion's biggest bash, be sure to check out the best Met Gala pictures from this year's event.

Dinnertime Crunch: Jessica Seinfeld's Quick Chicken and Couscous

Our tasty and easy Dinnertime Crunch series continues with celebrity chefs and restaurateurs sharing their favorite 30-minute weeknight dinners that help Mom and Dad spend more time with the kids each night.

Our tasty and easy Dinnertime Crunch series continues with celebrity chefs and restaurateurs sharing their favorite 30-minute weeknight dinners that help Mom and Dad spend more time with the kids each night. Today's recipes come from Do It Delicious founder and mother of three, Jessica Seinfeld.

It's easy to turn to frozen chicken nuggets on a busy weeknight. They're quick, easy, and you know the kids will eat them. While Mom and Dad may enjoy the breaded childhood staple, we know we shouldn't be eating them, but who really has time to cook one meal for the kids and another for the adults? Jessica Seinfeld says it's easier than you think. The children's cookbook author (whose third cookbook, which is geared toward those who are terrified of cooking, is due out in Fall 2013) and mother of three says that it's just as easy to whip up a chicken and couscous meal that the entire family will love. "My family goes wild for this crispy-skinned chicken," Jessica said. "And for the couscous salad, you don't have to turn on the stove, which if you're busy or don't love to cook, is a nice feature!"

Real Parent Gift Guide: All These Celebrities Want For the Holidays Is . . .

It takes a really good cause to get celebrity moms and dads to leave the comfort of their homes on a weekday night in the middle of the holiday season.

It takes a really good cause to get celebrity moms and dads to leave the comfort of their homes on a weekday night in the middle of the holiday season. Baby Buggy — the charity founded by Jessica Seinfeld that distributes new and gently used baby products to New York City families in need — is one such cause. The organization has given away more than 50 million baby products since it started, and for its 10th anniversary, Jessica organized a night of comedy featuring none other than her husband, Jerry Seinfeld, as well as Jon Stewart and Colin Quinn. The comedic lineup drew a crowd of celeb supporters including Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Bridget Moynahan, Chrissy and Nigel Barker, Ali Wentworth and George Stephanopoulos, Rosie Pope, Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber, and Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness. I took my place on the red carpet and spoke to the stars as they entered the event, asking them about their own wish lists for the holiday season. See what they had to say!

Stella McCartney, Naomi Watts, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Jessica Seinfeld dressed up for the New York City Ballet's Fall Gala last night at NYC's Lincoln Center. SJP, who's a self-confessed ballet addict, was decked out in a lace dress from Stella's collection while Naomi was clad in a white Stella pantsuit. It was a big evening for the McCartneys, as Paul was there with his soon-to-be wife Nancy Shevell. The ballet, called Ocean's Kingdom, was actually written by Paul, and it's his first foray into the genre. The project gave Paul a chance to collaborate with his daughter, Stella, as she designed the dancers' costumes. She was well aware of the endeavor's prestige. Stella said of working with her famous dad, "On one side, I am a daughter working with her father, which is an incredibly remarkable experience in life no matter who your father is. It's also quite an emotional thing. On another side, I know and understand I am working with Paul McCartney." Stella's husband, Alasdhair Willis, was on hand to cheer her and Paul on, as was her brother James McCartney.

Quinoa has moved from quirky health food to pantry staple over the past few years. The gluten-free complex carb is packed with iron, fiber, calcium, and magnesium, but it's quinoa's rice-like texture that makes it a tot-friendly grain. Leave it to Jessica Seinfeld to find a way to work nutritionists' favorite grain into a breakfast recipe. The children's cookbook author (who's currently working on her third cookbook) and mother of three has perfected the art of transforming everyday favorites into kiddie health foods with the addition of vegetable purees and superfood ingredients.

For our Brain-Boosting Breakfast series, Jessica shares a cinnamon-maple quinoa recipe, saying, " I pre-make quinoa and store in the fridge to have on hand to use for breakfasts, lunches, and dinner. This quinoa breakfast is a protein-packed option for the whole family and makes for a nice change from oatmeal or cold cereal."

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a tight, strapless number for Baby Buggy's Summer Dinner on Saturday evening in East Hampton. She was surrounded by friends and family for the bash, like her mom Blythe Danner as well as Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld. Baby Buggy, a charity that equips less-fortunate families with the gear and clothes needed to raise a child, was established by Jessica back in 2001, and Gwyneth has been a longtime supporter. The meal was sponsored by designer Reed Krakoff, who was seen chatting with a fresh-from-NYC Rachel Zoe. Rachel was decked out in an outfit from Reed's namesake collection. While in the Big Apple, Rachel Zoe shared her beauty secrets with us at an event for Exude lipsticks. Reed Krakoff is also the president of Coach, which had another connection to the dinner — Gwyneth Paltrow's new Coach ads, which are being published in foreign countries, came out earlier this month.
