Angelia Jolie started a major health discussion when she published an op-ed for The New York Times yesterday about her double mastectomy. We have the latest from her doctor and from her partner, Brad Pitt.
Video: Ann's Love For Mitt, Jon Voight on Jolie-Pitt Kids and Politics
Ann Romney's Republican National Convention speech included a lot of love for husband Mitt and many heartwarming words for the women in the audience — watch the whole thing here. See Ann take the stage and hear from Romney supporter Jon Voight about how the Jolie-Pitt children have influenced his personal politics in PopSugar Rush.
Jon Voight Invokes His Jolie-Pitt Grandkids While Supporting Romney

"I want my grandchildren to have the pride in America, and the freedom in America, and the prosperity in America that I experienced growing up," actor Jon Voight told us during the Republican National Convention in Tampa today. The father of Angelina Jolie and grandfather to her six children said, "If this fellow [President Obama] gets another four years, it's gone for my grandchildren."
President Obama may have a lot more famous backers, but Jon Voight makes for an impassioned Hollywood supporter of the Republican Party. In fact, he called himself "an enemy of the left" this morning, arguing that the left is "from a period when Marx said, 'God is man.' Everything based on Marxism is a disaster."
When we asked him if Romney will win over women voters, he told us: "I think they just need to get to know him. Mitt Romney is a tremendous guy. Anyone who's spent time with him loves him. And this is about substance, too. He's succeeded at everything he's done." Voight also had praise for Ann Romney, who speaks tonight, saying, "She's a force."
So does he talk politics with his daughter? "Occasionally we'll say a word or two." But one thing they don't talk about, apparently, is her wedding to fiancé Brad Pitt. Voight said, "I don't have any news about the wedding. I've heard it only in the magazines."
Video: Angelina and Brad Step Out as Angie's Dad Speaks About More Grandchildren!
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made several parents-only outings over the weekend, but the Jolie-Pitt kids were a popular topic of conversation with Angie's dad. We caught up with Jon Voight at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party on Saturday, where he shared his thoughts on becoming a grandpa again — hear what he had to say and find out where Angelina and Brad popped up in PopSugar Rush.
Britney, Diddy, Kim, Miranda, and More Honor Whitney Houston at Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Party
Stars came out to attend Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton in LA last night despite the tragic news of Whitney Houston's death yesterday afternoon. Clive, who started Whitney's career and remained close to the singer, asked that guests observe a moment of silence for Whitney during the event and shared, "She loved music and loved this night that celebrated music. Whitney would have asked that the music go on. And her family said the show should go on." Clive was just one of many celebrities who commented on Whitney's death yesterday, including Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey.
Britney Spears and her fiancé, Jason Trawick, got the annual celebration going, as did Kim Kardashian and Richard Branson, who was honored at the gala. Jennifer Lopez, Diana Ross, Tom Hanks, and others walked the carpet while Diddy, Miranda Lambert, Alicia Keys, and more took the stage during the event. The musical fun is just getting started since the main event, the Grammy Awards, will take place later today with Jennifer Hudson expected to sing a tribute to Whitney.
Jon Voight Tours London With Grandkids Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax!
Jon Voight was in charge of his Jolie-Pitt grandkids, Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax, on Saturday. They went for a scenic walk around a London park while Brad Pitt was off taking care of business. Angelina Jolie, meanwhile, was busy with meetings after traveling to the Netherlands to attend a trial at the International Criminal Court. It seems Jon went abroad to pay Angelina and her family a visit while they're based in the UK, where Brad's been working on World War Z for the last few months. Angelina's October cover of Vanity Fair has a feature of her next big screen endeavor, her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey. Zahara also has a spot in the issue, since she posed for a photo with Angelina and her little sister, Vivienne.
