Singer Joss Stone arrived pretty in pink to the royal wedding. Her simple shift dress and matching jacket were accessorized with a wide-brim hat. Quite a ladylike moment for the usually bohemian singer — although we love the nose ring! What do you think of Joss Stone's polished look?

London calling! Yes, that's Joss Stone — she of the free-spirited, bohemian hair and makeup looks — at the royal wedding. For this formal event, she traded her relaxed beauty style for a conservative hat and minimal makeup. What do you think?

First Look: The Tudors Season Three
There's a lot to like about this promo for the third season of Showtime's The Tudors, but the music is absolutely cracking me up. The promo shows scenes of Jonathan Rhys Meyers's Henry VIII and his many wives, all set to the sound of . . . Queen's "I Want It All." Would Henry have been into stadium rock if only it had existed in the Tudor era? How funny is it to have a show about a king with promo music by Queen? Am I just entirely too entertained by this? (Yes.)
Anyway, this spot for the third season — which will be eight episodes long and is set to kick off April 5 — shows the war, romance, and killer costumes we've become accustomed to from the series. This third season will cover Henry's third and fourth wives, including the lovely Joss Stone as Anne of Cleves. This is around the time the historical Henry would have been getting fat and unattractive, but don't worry — JRM won't be going down that particular path.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers Heats Up The Tudors Again
Jonathan Rhys Meyers was a spunky and handsome addition to yesterday's Showtime TCA event to meander through the next season of The Tudors. While Buzz has the info about his relationship with Joss Stone plus other tidbits from the day's panels, here's what Jonathan had to say about playing the famous character and what sex scenes are like:
- On whether he'll gain weight like Henry VIII: "No. I’m not going to turn into the Holbein painting. . . I played it my way. I could have put on the red hair and gained the weight but it’s already done. I’m not that guy. This is not that show. . . We wanted to make something with the exciting backdrop but it's entertainment, it’s television. . .We have to play with history a little bit. I had to play him my way."
- On love then vs. now: "Marriage was a commercial venture rather than a love thing. You married and you had children because children brought you heirs and security for your legacy. . . Usually they were arranged for commercial, political and state value and occasionally a love match was found."
- On being comfortable with his love scenes: "Very comfortable. There are worse things you could do with yourself on a rainy Tuesday morning in Dublin than hop in bed with [these ladies]."
Joss Stone Is The Tudors' Anne of Cleves
Following in the footsteps of Shirley Manson, Joss Stone has become the year's latest high-profile UK singer to join the cast of a major TV show. In this case, Stone has been cast as Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife of Henry VIII, in Showtime's The Tudors.
Anne of Cleves will be the second wife Henry takes in the show's upcoming third season, following Jane Seymour (Anita Briem). The show's first two seasons already took care of Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn.
According to the Hollywood Reporter,
A daughter of a German nobleman, Anne was betrothed to Henry in a marriage treaty between the Cleves Court and the king's chancellor after Henry was shown a portrait of her. Upon Anne's arrival to England, Henry was disappointed in her looks and soon found a legal way to have the marriage annulled.
Ouch!
Stone has apparently been looking to cross into acting for a while, but before this, the only role on her résumé was a small part in the 2006 fantasy film Eragon. So, do you think you'll be able to take the singer seriously as a royal wife-to-be?
Album Review: The Sex and the City Movie Soundtrack
I was lucky enough to take an advance spin of the new soundtrack for the Sex and the City movie and I immediately thought of good times with girlfriends. In aggregate, it's not entirely a get-up-and-shake-your-booty kind of mix, but just a cool bunch of songs about love and friendship. I think it would be quite perfect for the background music at a hip wedding shower actually.
The soundtrack is packed with a bunch of recognizable names, like Jennifer Hudson, whose tune "All Dressed in Love" is a cute, uptempo disco anthem that reminds me of the exuberance found in "It's Raining Men." Morningwood's (ha! That name!) "New York Girls" is not my favorite, and if I were in charge of finding a good retro-rock vibe for the album (or the movie) I would have gone with Franz Ferdinand or even the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. That and the smooth techno beats in "I Like the Way" by Kaskade are the kinds of tracks mixed between better songs that give the whole thing the "background music" vibe I'm talking about.

Glitterati: Devon Leigh
After receiving her degree in film and screenwriting, Devon Leigh was originally destined to be a part of the film industry. Fate, however, had other plans in mind for her. While working on film sets, people were so enthralled with her handmade jewelry, they were literally buying the pieces right off her neck!
Her dazzling and unique jewelry has graced the neck of numerous A-list players in Hollywood. Devon's hefty résumé includes Alicia Keys, Kate Bosworth, Joss Stone, Elizabeth Taylor, and Kirsten Dunst. Stylists have used her pieces in numerous movies and television shows including my all-time favorite, Sex and the City.
