Javier Bardem and Daniel Craig, along with their costars Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, and Judi Dench, brought Skyfall to London today. They kicked off press for the latest James Bond movie in NYC last week, when the new Bond girls, Bérénice and Naomie, made their promotional debut stateside. Before Javier hit the road for the film, he was busy working on another project, The Counselor, in Spain. His wife, Penélope Cruz, is also a part of The Counselor, though the couple broke from production to spend time with family recently. Javier and Penélope met up with Penélope's siblings, Monica and Eduardo, in Madrid, where they grabbed dinner. Javier's 007 duties will continue as the action film is being released in the UK on Friday and heads to US theaters on Nov. 9.

After viewing the trailer for Skyfall, the newest James Bond installment, I am sufficiently excited to see all the crazy stunts on the big screen. Sadly for me, that's not gonna happen until November. The good news is that I have all these amazing pics of Daniel Craig as the iconic superspy, Javier Bardem as the new evil genius, and the rest of these pics from Skyfall to tide us over until then.

Bond fans, rejoice! Work on the 23rd film in the series, Skyfall, has started, and the cast and crew gathered together in London for a photocall in celebration of the event. Leading man Daniel Craig joined up with director Sam Mendes and new Bond girls, France's Bérénice Marlohe and Britain's Naomie Harris, to smile for the cameras. James Bond villan Javier Bardem was there as well, lending his good looks to the cast.

Sam and the actors posed for photos then sat down for a press conference, which was planned to take place on the anniversary of the day that Sean Connery was announced as the first Bond. They also shared the official synopsis for the film, which is that, "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. . . as MI6 comes under attack." Sam Mendes had more on the plot, saying, "It, I think, has all the elements of a classic Bond movie, including, to quell any rumors, a lot of action." Work on Bond 23 had been stalled for a long time due to financing problems at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. Now, though, things are going into full gear with Sony and MGM financing the shoot in London, Shanghai, Istanbul, and Scotland with a release date next Fall.

Clint Eastwood was behind the camera in LA yesterday to direct Leonardo DiCaprio on the set of J. Edgar. Leo kicked off the day lounging in a pair of white pajamas, later changing into a hot tux for a night shoot with The Social Network's Armie Hammer. We got a first look at Leo dressed up in his period costume earlier this week, and he was once again joined by costar Judi Dench. Leo's now fully focused on his movie with Clint, though he'll likely get a break in the coming weeks to support a past project. His Christopher Nolan-helmed Inception is nominated in the category of best picture at the Oscars, and we'll see if Leo makes his latest award season appearance on the 27th — in the meantime, make sure to fill out Buzz's ballot with your predictions for the year's Academy Award winners!
