Former Top Chef hostess and cookbook author Katie Lee Joel was crowned this year's queen of the Burger Bash. The event, which was hosted by Rachael Ray, was a part of the Food Network's NYC Wine and Food Festival. Joel was the only participating female among the 18 chefs who submitted burgers. Her burger was a cross between a hamburger and a grilled cheese.Dubbed the Logan County Hamburger, the burger is a creation of Joel's grandmother who made the burger with cheap ingredients during tough times. When Saks kicks off a shopping for charity event, the celebrity ladies (and a few men) are sure to come running. Last night launched the 10th Annual Key to the Cure charity shopping weekend in NYC where the ladies showed off the t-shirt designed by Gwyneth Paltrow for the event, which is available for sale exclusively at Saks. Lindsay Lohan walked the red carpet solo, but caught up with both Samantha and Charlotte Ronson inside. The always adorable Lindsay Price wasn't the only Lipstick Jungle star out — hot Robert Buckley stopped by too. Newlywed Beth Ostrosky was back from her honeymoon and showing off her new ring finger bling on the red carpet. This looks like one perfectly lucky guest list eager to celebrate spending money for a good cause.

Dina and Ali Lohan got all done up in NYC last night for their favorite hobby — red carpet posing! Whee! They may not have their signature poses like Lindsay just yet, but I'm sure they're not far away. The dynamic duo of reality TV stars, one of whom is a recent award winner, were out for the 5th annual Candie's Foundation Event to Prevent Benefit on National Stop Teen Pregnancy Day. Mischa Barton, who is no longer a teen but didn't have any kids when she was one, was among the other young women out to support the cause. As for Jason Lewis, he's eye candy wherever he goes and a pleasant reminder that we all get Mr. Smith Jarrod back on the big screen in just a few short weeks.

Oh, MK...no...just no. Mary-Kate Olsen looked a touch ridiculous (sad face) at last night's New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fête event to support New Yorkers for Children. At least her fellow partygoers including the always impeccable Leighton Meester and Emmy Rossum saved the event from being a full on velvet headband debacle. Speaking of which — love it or hate it? I kid, I kid MK. I may not always love the way she dresses herself, but I am an Olsen fan to the end and at least her fall line for Elizabeth and James and upcoming movie The Wackness are both saving graces. Plus, it's hard to be hard on her when she's out for such a good cause with all the other fabulous philanthropic celebs last night.

Yesterday marked the kick-off of the 2008 Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Think of it as spring break for the culinary elite. While Hollywood may be galavanting off to Los Angeles for the Oscars, your favorite chefs and Food Network personalities are hanging out on the beach, drinking beer, eating burgers, playing poker, and having what looks like tons of fun.

Get a glimpse of animal-loving celebrities and their pets at the North Shore Animal League America’s Second Annual DogCatemy Awards Gala, recently held at NYC's Capitale. The event encourages pet owners to shoot short flicks showing how they share their lives with furry friends and then screens – and awards – several of these mini movies in categories like "Best Tail-Waggin Comedy," "Best Dogumentary," and more. All proceeds from the ceremony support the North Shore Animal League America’s mission of rescuing pets and finding them loving homes throughout the world.

While many expected fashion-conscious celebrities made it to NY Fashion Week this time around, there was plenty of love for unlikely fashionistas as well. CK underwear model Djimon Honsou helped celebrate Us Weekly's 25 Most Fashionable New Yorkers and Kanye took a break from all the hubbub and tantrums surrounding his album to stop by Ghita's front row with his fiance. Tori and Dean left their little Liam back at the Inn to see the latest designs from Betsey Johnson along with LL Cool J.
