The Travoltas are having a blue Thanksgiving after welcoming a baby boy last night! Kelly Preston, 48, gave birth to 8 lbs., 3 oz. baby Benjamin in a Florida hospital. The couple, who announced that they were expecting a year after the devastating loss of their 16-year-old son, Jett, said in a statement:

John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.

Congratulations to the entire family!

I'm a talkative person, but when I'm in pain — I get quiet. There are only a handful of times when I've had nothing to say and three of those were when I was in active labor. Nothing, but bracing myself and staying mum, helped me get through the contractions — especially with my lil guy who was 10 lbs., 2 oz. and felt like a runaway freight train trying to exit.

There was more than one round object catching people's attention in South Africa last weekend! While most eyes were focused on the World Cup's soccer ball, Kelly Preston debuted her baby bump at an event for the Mandela Children's Fund in Johannesburg.

Wearing a technicolor maxi dress and coordinating cardigan, the 47-year-old mom-to-be debuted her growing belly before a crowd that gathered to celebrate the celebrity parents' $10,000 donation to the charity. Maxi dresses continue to be the style of choice for Summer pregnancies with their comfortable, flowing fabrics providing expectant mamas with plenty of room to grow.

The World Cup action swung into high gear over the weekend in South Africa — refresh your soccer knowledge with our handy guide to the games!
