Matt Damon dropped Harvard University yesterday to receive a special award. Although Matt never graduated from Harvard, dropping out in 1992 to pursue his acting career, the Hollywood star received Harvard's 2013 Harvard Arts Medal. He arrived at the ceremony with his wife, Luciana Damon, and got interviewed by John Lithgow onstage during the ceremony. During the chat, Matt talked about his experiences at the college and growing up in Boston. He said, "I am really proud to come from here. Hold onto that, and that feeling of what we are really about here." Matt also revealed that he still struggles with his failures, but turns to his wife for support. Matt's scholarly career recognition coincides with yesterday's announcement that his best friend, Ben Affleck, will receive an honorary degree from Brown University on May 26.

Matt and Ben teamed up earlier this month when they jetted off to St. Lucia for Matt and Lucia's vow renewal. While Ben has since been taking advantage of time with his family, Matt has returned to work. On Saturday, he promoted his new movie, Elysium, in Cancun and also participated in a Skype press conference with George Clooney and Grant Heslov for The Monuments Men, which is set to be released in December.

Matt and Luciana renewed their wedding vows at the island's Sugar Beach resort on Saturday following more than seven years of marriage. Their four children were in attendance and there were also plenty of celebrity pals on hand to witness the event, including Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, as well as Don Cheadle and Casey Affleck. The star power didn't end there since Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony. Ben, Jennifer, Chris, and others were spotted leaving the Caribbean on Sunday, though it looks like Matt and Luciana stayed behind to enjoy their newly remarried status.

Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, had front-row seats to the Naeem Khan show during New York Fashion Week today. The couple cheered in their seats as the looks went down the runway and clapped as the designer took his bow. Matt and Luciana also attended Naeem Khan's presentation together last year.

Matt is back home on the East Coast following a trip to Berlin, where he promoted Promised Land at the Berlin Film Festival. He attended a press conference and hit the red carpet for the movie, which he wrote and starred in with John Krasinski. Matt's overseas stay wasn't just about work, though, since he also met up with pal George Clooney for dinner.

The gang's back in the Big Apple after work brought Matt east earlier this month. Matt and Luciana premiered Promised Land alongside Matt's costar and cowriter John Krasinski. The film opens in limited release later this month on Dec. 28.

He only had sweet things to say about his life as a husband and father. Matt told the magazine, "When I turned 40, I had my whole family and some friends together. I realized I had to make a toast and hadn’t thought of anything to say. I stood up, and what came to me seemed incredibly true in the moment and even more so as time has gone by. I said, 'I think I might actually be the luckiest guy on earth. I really might be him.'"

Matt Damon hit the red carpet for the LA premiere of Promised Land last night. He had wife Luciana by his side, but also posed with costar and pal John Krasinski. It was their second event of the week after also promoting the project with a screening in NYC on Tuesday. The next day, Matt, Luciana, and their three youngest daughters traveled to the West Coast together. They've been going back and forth between both coasts since purchasing a home near the Garner-Afflecks in LA over the Summer. It looks like they'll be staying put for at least a few days since Matt has press interviews this weekend and is also scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show on Monday.
