Britney Spears showed off her toned legs in shorts and high wedges arriving at a recording studio in LA yesterday to work on her upcoming album. She was coming off an evening watching one of today's biggest pop stars, Lady Gaga, and her wild onstage looks perform at the Staples Center on Wednesday. Brit's fans are getting excited that she'll be releasing new music soon, and this week there was an exciting development in her Glee episode — Britney herself will be making an appearance on the show, which is good news to everyone hoping for a cameo. The cast is already shooting the Spears-centric script, though Lea Michelle revealed when trying to recreate classic videos, some of the dance sequences are a bit too tricky for the actress. Sounds like the perfect place for Miss Spears herself to step in!

Britney Spears was in a short red dress yesterday to attend a meeting in LA with her mother Lynne. Afterwards, the pair hopped into Brit's SUV and stopped by a McDonald's to pick up sodas and happy meals. It was another work-filled afternoon for Britney, following her time on set shooting new ads for Candie's last week. She could have another exciting project on her plate — Glee's creator Ryan Murphy revealed that he is looking into using Brit's music on the show and Buzz is hoping she'll step onto the small screen to sing herself. She still had downtime to take her boys Sean and Jayden to Disneyland for the second weekend in a row, though she denied reports that she spent Saturday night out clubbing in Hollywood.

Britney Spears and her mother Lynne headed off to a meeting in LA this afternoon, with Sean Preston and Jayden James, in his favorite Spiderman outfit, waving goodbye as their SUV drove away. Things haven't been all about work for Britney lately, though, as she also had time to see Alice in Wonderland. Evidently she's in line with the other people who made it a runaway success at the box office, since Brit said she loved it.

Britney Spears and Lynne headed to the mall yesterday, where they picked up some goodies at the Gap among other stores. As usual, Brit was double-fisting her beverages, but this time only one was of the caffeinated variety. Last weekend Britney went back to blond before spending time with her sons and thanking fans for her latest nomination. She also had some new success to celebrate, which is something we're always happy to do in honor of Miss Brit.

Britney Spears and her mother Lynne brought Sean Preston and Jayden James, who wore their Spider-man costumes, out for a movie night in LA yesterday. The boys got a lift in and out of the theater, with Lynne and Britney alternating the duty with their security guards. Britney's still showing off her freshly lightened hair, which she dyed blond over the weekend. Britney had something else to celebrate besides a new hairstyle: she was recently ranked fifth on Billboard magazine's list of 2009's top musical moneymakers after earning $38 million.
