Following a March trip to Africa, Angelina was in California before heading to NYC, where she was spotted with her two other sons, Knox and Pax. Then Angelina was off to London. All of the traveling was on behalf of her philanthropic work — she spoke with victims of wartime violence, attended the 2013 Women in the World Summit, and addressed an assembly of world leaders at a G8 gathering. This weekend, though, brings a change of pace for the Jolie-Pitt clan. Brad Pitt's taking on a more lighthearted assignment by attending tomorrow's MTV Movie Awards to both hand off the movie of the year golden popcorn and promote his film World War Z.

Angelina Jolie took Knox and Pax to Michaels in Santa Barbara, CA, on Saturday. On Sunday, Brad Pitt was in charge of the kids as they went off-roading in the sand. Brad drove a four-wheeler with Knox on his lap, while Pax manned his own bike. The whole family is back together on the West Coast after Angelina returned from a trip overseas last week. Angelina traveled to Africa with Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague to raise awareness of sexual violence in war zones. She made headlines for more than just her philanthropic work, though, since she debuted a thin gold band on her ring finger. Angelina denied rumors that the new accessory was a wedding band upon arriving back at LAX last week.

Angelina had more than one reason to celebrate this weekend, since she recently won a lawsuit regarding her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey. A judge determined that Angelina's movie didn't violate the copyright on Croatian journalist James J. Braddock's book, Slamanje Duse.

A busy schedule didn't stop Angelina from tending to her humanitarian work, or Brad from hitting the Cannes Film Festival.

Brad donned a wetsuit to splash around in the waves with Zahara and Pax while Angelina stuck on dry land in a flowing black dress. Angelina's beach look is a familiar one — it's reminiscent of what she was wearing for the first Brad and Angelina couple pictures in Africa with baby Maddox. On this trip, Angelina fussed with their pink umbrella while the twins Knox and Vivienne played in the sand. Pax also tested out the waters while Shiloh explored. At one point all eight of the Jolie-Pitts climbed back into the raft that brought them to the boat they were using to check out all the islands. Angelina broke from family time to do some UN work on Sunday, but for the most part it was a relaxing adventure for the Jolie-Pitt crew.
