Ben Stiller Accepts a Major Award With Jen, Justin, and Friends

Ben Stiller was honored at the annual American Cinematheque Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night.

Ben Stiller was honored at the annual American Cinematheque Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night. Friends from far and wide traveled to LA to toast his body of work. Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Eugene Levy, and Martin Short took the stage to speak about Ben's dedication to moviemaking. Jennifer Aniston wore a Valentino dress to make the rounds with her fiancé, Justin Theroux, as well. Jen and Justin shared kind words about their friend Ben — Justin even produced a short film for Ben featuring their Tropic Thunder costar Tom Cruise.

Jen and Justin are quite close with Ben and his wife, Christine Taylor. Christine was on Ben's arm for the evening event too, standing out from the crowd in a red gown. Ben closed out his own words with a tribute to Christine. He said, "I have an incredible wife. I love our life together . . . she's the funniest person I know, next to Andy Dick."

The Emmy awards are just one month away, which means it's time to start picking apart the categories and predicting the winners.

The Emmy awards are just one month away, which means it's time to start picking apart the categories and predicting the winners. Now that we've had some time to digest all the nominees, let's take some time to focus on the category for best supporting actor in a drama series.

We've got a great cast of characters here: Terry O'Quinn as Lost's John Locke, John Slattery as Mad Men's Roger Sterling, Martin Short as Leonard on Damages, Andre Braugher as Owen on Men of a Certain Age, reigning champ Michael Emerson as Ben from Lost, and finally, Aaron Paul as Breaking Bad's Jesse.

Think you know who should win? Here's your chance to tell me why! I want to hear you make your best case for the actor of your choice — it just might help me make my own prediction when I start posting my annual Emmy breakdowns later this week!

NYC Is Where Spike, Blake, and Tom Check Out the Wild Things

Blake Lively was one of the few ladies at last night's NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are.

Blake Lively was one of the few ladies at last night's NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are. It's only Wednesday, but this was already Blake's second red carpet of the week after turning out to support boyfriend Penn Badgley Monday at his screening of The Stepfather. Blake was in rather impressive company, as Tom Hanks and Forest Whitaker also turned out to see Spike Jonze's latest film. Spike took his turn in the limelight to pose with the young star Max Records and author Maurice Sendak, who wrote the famous children's book on which the movie is based. The movie opens Friday — make sure to check out the latest trailer — and there is a huge promotional effort underway, including related lines of home furnishings, children's Halloween costumes, and even clothes for adults.

Steve Martin Is Still Splashing Around Shirtless in St Barts

Steve Martin hit the waves running on vacation in St. Barts with his wife and friends including Martin Short yesterday.

Steve Martin hit the waves running on vacation in St. Barts with his wife and friends including Martin Short yesterday. The boys seemed to be having a blast on the beach and in the gorgeous blue water. It's Steve's fifth holiday season in a row spent in the tropical location. After his funny guest starring stint on 30 Rock the next time we'll see Steve's classic humor on-screen is in the new Pink Panther movie due out this year. At 63, he may be a tad older than some of the usual shirtless men we feature here, but we've got lots of love for Steve and his fun-looking vacation.

Hayden Takes Care of Her Own

With no Milo Ventimiglia in sight, Hayden Panettiere had a much younger man, her brother Jansen, on her arm at the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles in LA last night.

With no Milo Ventimiglia in sight, Hayden Panettiere had a much younger man, her brother Jansen, on her arm at the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles in LA last night. Hayden's still a family girl at heart, but earlier this week that backfired a bit. At Wednesday's Old Navy party mom Panettiere's dress was a little too risqué for her daughter's taste and Hayden had to leave the dance floor in order to try and keep her mother decent. We all know what it's like to be embarrassed of your parents, but let's hope that Mrs. Panettiere doesn't turn into a party mom.

Diane Keaton Gets Honored

Last night Diane Keaton was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and many of her past co-stars came out to show their support.

Last night Diane Keaton was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and many of her past co-stars came out to show their support. Diane looked beautiful thanks to ditching her signature hat and pant look. Well done Diane! Fashionista SJP practically coordinated the flutter mermaid skirt but didn't upstage the other ladies like Lisa Kudrow - they all looked good but Diane looked the best. As for the men, Martin Short and Steve Martin, Diane's "Father of the Bride" costars were also at the event.

The night included a 10 minute montage of Keaton's work, and was capped off with a 10 minute speech in which Diane expressed her thanks, "I really do believe that gratitude is a hard one to kind of pull off, but it is the essence of everything for me tonight." Congrats to Diane on getting recognized for her hard work, but we bet she'll continue to wow us for years to come.
