Lindsay Lohan spent her weekend partying away in Malibu, hitting a beach bash with friends on Sunday. While she continues to go about her business as usual, her dad soaked up some more quality time with his new buddy Jon Gosselin. The guys had a typical Summer weekend in the Hamptons together, grabbing ice cream, going to dinners, and watching a polo match. While Michael's been busy with his male bonding, apparently his friends think he should be focusing on his family instead. Sounds like a piece of advice that Jon should probably take as well — though he claims that he's putting his kids before his personal relationships.

Lindsay Lohan looked pretty in blue as she left Samantha Ronson's house in LA yesterday. The girls seem to be back on solid ground after their most recent big fight, but things have a tendency to change from day to day with the duo. Meanwhile, her father was back in Long Island creating a perfect storm of ludicrous friendships hanging out with Jon Gosselin at Red Bar Brasserie in the Hamptons — you can't make this stuff up. The two are friends and Michael Lohan knows Jon's Star reporter lady friend, who was there too. Better Jon Gosselin hang out with Michael than Lindsay I guess? For all her missteps, she has better judgment than that, thankfully.

Between her birthday and the Fourth of July, there didn't seem to be a dull moment in Lindsay Lohan's weekend. She spent her special day grabbing lunch with Samantha before heading to the salon to get pampered for another night of celebrating. The fun continued on the Fourth of July, when LL hosted a party at the Silver Spoon Malibu Beach House, complete with bikini photo ops with her brother Michael. Later on she changed out of the swimsuit to mingle with Tyrese, Demi, and Ashton at Diddy's annual white party. As usual the starlet found time for plenty of outfit changes and shopping trips between parties, and overall she seemed to keep her tradition alive with another fun-filled extra long weekend.

Lindsay Lohan took a break from filming Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday to unwind with cigarettes and Samantha in NYC after the massive amount of drama that her father has been fueling in the past couple of days. After LL lashed out at him on her MySpace blog, her father answered back, blaming Dina for his suspicions about Samantha and saying that he's already got a TV special in the works to expose Dina for being a hypocrite. Here's a taste of what he wants to say:
"I've never taken or earned one penny from my daughter. Meanwhile, all the people around her, including her mother, are earning money off of her. They want publicity. They're there for self-serving reasons. I didn't have my own reality TV show. As far as I'm concerned, Samantha Ronson doesn't exist. I've met her. She can't even look in my eye. She knows I know what she's all about . . . She's controlling. Sooner or later, her relationship with Samantha will fall apart, and I'm sure Lindsay will come back someday and say, 'Daddy, you were right all along' — just like she did with so many other people in her past. I'm not holding out hope. I know she will."
Unfortunately, LL's family sadness doesn't end there. Her grandfather passed away yesterday, which has already brought more anger from Michael regarding Dina and their children. To top it all off, her uncle was sentenced to a year in prison for fraud. Lindsay seems to be staying busy with work and Samantha through it all, but unfortunately it looks like the Lohan family drama is here to stay.
While standing in for Regis on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday, Anderson Cooper went on a rant about Living Lohan. In addition to ripping on the show as a whole, he refers to the Lohan family as "horrific people" and says Ali looks like a 60-year-old. Both Dina and Michael have already spoken out against him, but watch the clip below and tell us — do you think Anderson went too far?
It was a family affair for Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson at the Sephora 10th anniversary party in NYC last night. On the Lohan front, Dina and brother (not father) Michael hit the red carpet with their sequins-ed out sister while Samantha had her sister Charlotte out for the night. Seems like LL and SR can't be too worried about family talking these days. Nicky Hilton didn't have Paris by her side to stick with the sibling trend, but there were more than enough girls around to party with.
