Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli cozied up last night at a club in Sardinia, where they celebrated a friend's birthday with Naomi Campbell and her boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin. Naomi is fresh off testifying at the international criminal court last week, and she was spotted today relaxing on a yacht with Leo, Bar, and Vladimir. David LaChapelle's latest exhibit, titled “American Jesus,” opens today Chelsea’s Paul Kasmin Gallery, and the celebrity portrait photographer cast friends Michael Jackson and Naomi Campbell in a series of Biblical scenes. The Jackson portraits were taken just before the performer's death and include the show's title piece. Campbell makes an appearance as Botticelli's Venus. Click below for a sneak peek.
Soccer stars love their designer logos, and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has a similar, newfound focus on fashion. The 2010 World Cup Trophy, which since 1930 has traveled to host cities in an armored metal suitcase, will this year take the trip to South Africa in custom Louis Vuitton. The case, commissioned by FIFA, was created at Louis Vuitton's original workshop in Asnières, and will hold the solid 18-karat gold trophy until the final match on July 11 in Johannesburg.
"There was no reason why security couldn't be synonymous with elegance," said Louis Vuitton spokesman Antoine Arnault.
It appears FIFA agrees, as soccer's governing body has already placed an order for a similar design to be used during the 2014 World Cup.
