Music Stars Have a Fun Night at the American Country Awards

Country stars were joined by their Hollywood friends last night for the third annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas.

Country stars were joined by their Hollywood friends last night for the third annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas. Hosts Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins, who hosted last year's event too, made a hilarious entrance when they walked on stage with Trace carrying tiny Kristin in a pink baby sling. Kristin made multiple costume changes throughout the night, even changing into a sexy Santa costume to celebrate the Christmas season.

Big winners for the night included Miranda Lambert, who took home a single of the year award and a music video of the year award, and Carrie Underwood, who won the single of the year and female artist of the year prizes. This has been a busy month for Carrie, who we last saw at the taping of CMT's Artist of the Year celebration.

One of the highlights of Fashion Week?

One of the highlights of Fashion Week? Heading over to Natasha Bedingfield's suite at the Empire Hotel while she was being prepped by hairstylist Ricardo Rojas and makeup artist Celeste Duquesne for the Y-3 runway show. The singer was going for an '80s vintage Chanel look (think smoky eyes, bright lips, and expertly zuzhed hair) and told us that even when getting the red-carpet treatment, she mixes her Tom Ford True Coral lipstick with, well, everything. To see the full finished look — set to Bedingfield's "Touch" — watch our video now.

Matthew McConaughey played a supporting role to Camila Alves when she walked the runway at the Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection in Manhattan last night. The sexy actor sported some stubble as he and sexy Camila took a break from their West Coast kid duties for the big evening out. The annual event helps kick off NYC's Fall Fashion Week with an impressive list of past participants like Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian. The lucky ladies sashaying down the runway for this year's philanthropic show included a variety of names from TV, film, music, media, and athletics. Audrina Patridge, Dita Von Teese, and Julianne Hough happily modeled their fiery gowns and busy mom-of-two Denise Richards put aside the drama affecting her personal life for a cause close to her heart.

Heidi Klum stopped by the UCLA campus for a game of capture the flag with singer Natasha Bedingfield this afternoon. The ladies were there to support The Heart Truth campaign, a cause that Heidi has been involved with before. She participated in the charity's annual fashion show along with other famous faces last year, and the red dresses will be back on the catwalk to kick off New York Fashion Week next Wednesday. Heidi just returned to sunny California after a trip overseas where she promoted the makeup brand Astor and partied with fashionable pals. She's not slowing down any time soon though, as her new TV series, Seriously Funny Kids, premieres on Lifetime tonight!

Ryan Seacrest was surrounded by millions of people in Times Square Friday night as he co-hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He took a break from American Idol to make the trip to the Big Apple while new AI judge Jennifer Lopez headed to Las Vegas with Marc Anthony. Last week Ryan laughed off rumors of an engagement to girlfriend Julianne Hough, though she was in attendance to lock lips at the stroke of midnight. Jenny McCarthy also got a surprise kiss from her new boyfriend, attorney Paul Krepelka. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys shared the stage again performing a mashup of their greatest hits as they prep for a 2011 Summer tour that has most of you really excited. Willow Smith was in the spirit of the night whipping her hair back and forth while Ke$ha kept the party going with her chart topping hit "Tik Tok." Avril Lavigne debuted a new song, "What the Hell" and Jennifer Hudson showed off her fit frame while belting out the appropriately titled tune, "Feeling Good."

Deck the Halls Kitschy-Style With an Over-the-Top Headband

OK, so kitschy holiday headbands, like this red and green antler-style one worn recently by Natasha Bedingfield, can be slightly cheesy.

OK, so kitschy holiday headbands, like this red and green antler-style one worn recently by Natasha Bedingfield, can be slightly cheesy. However, when the eggnog's a-flowin' — or if you have an ugly sweater party to attend in the near future — there's no better time to show your playful side with a pouf of candy canes atop your head. Let's not forget that over-the-top holiday headbands make truly wacky white elephant gifts, too. So when times call for the opposite of sophisticated, look to these bells-and-whistles (some literally) hair accessories for inspiration:
