David Duchovny joined his Californication costars Natasha McElhone and Madeleine Martin on the Venice Beach set on Thursday evening. They're hard at work on their series' fourth season, which will feature a Brad Pitt-inspired cameo from Rob Lowe. There are even more special appearances to come with Tommy Lee and Carla Gugino on board. Their show returns to HBO in September, and it'll be interesting to see what lies next for Hank Moody and his family after their last big cliffhanger.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer brought his daughter Lilac along on Saturday to a friend's party in Beverly Hills. On the way in, the trio ran into Stephen's fellow Brit Natascha McElhone, from Californication, and her baby son Rex. Anna and Stephen had the day off from working on the third season of True Blood, after logging time on set last week with costar Alexander Skarsgard. The couple got a head start on celebrating Father's Day with Lilac, just like many other famous families.
