Backstreet's back and the New Kids are making a comeback this Summer on the NKOTBSB tour. And yesterday, Joey McIntyre welcomed another new kid to the family, when his wife gave birth to a girl. Back in the day, I was a total fan of the New Kids. I'll admit I owned a signed photograph and a jacket with the boys' faces on the back. It took me a while to warm up to the second wave of boy band craze that included the Backstreet Boys, but I managed to learn the lyrics to a lot of their hits over the years. Test your NKOTBSB skills now with our fun quiz. Just match each cheesy love song lyric to the band.
Ryan Seacrest Rocks Times Square With NKOTB, BSB, Ke$ha, Willow Smith, Jennifer Hudson, and More!
Ryan Seacrest was surrounded by millions of people in Times Square Friday night as he co-hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He took a break from American Idol to make the trip to the Big Apple while new AI judge Jennifer Lopez headed to Las Vegas with Marc Anthony. Last week Ryan laughed off rumors of an engagement to girlfriend Julianne Hough, though she was in attendance to lock lips at the stroke of midnight. Jenny McCarthy also got a surprise kiss from her new boyfriend, attorney Paul Krepelka. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys shared the stage again performing a mashup of their greatest hits as they prep for a 2011 Summer tour that has most of you really excited. Willow Smith was in the spirit of the night whipping her hair back and forth while Ke$ha kept the party going with her chart topping hit "Tik Tok." Avril Lavigne debuted a new song, "What the Hell" and Jennifer Hudson showed off her fit frame while belting out the appropriately titled tune, "Feeling Good."

Which AMA Performance Was Your Favorite?
Between the winner speeches, the American Music Awards served up plenty of performances from some of the hottest acts in music right now. Rihanna opened up the night with a medley of her new hits, but she was only the first in a long line of musicians to take the stage.

The boys' choir in Katy Perry's "Firework" totally gave me goosebumps, Taylor Swift's "Back to December" was subdued but powerful, and yes, I loved seeing the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block together. There were too many artists to name here, but some performances were definitely more exciting than others. I've included several of my picks below — tell me which was your favorite?
