Nicollette Sheridan looked anything but desperate walking the Emmy red carpet. In fact, she looked pretty in purple in her Angel Sanchez dress and Avakian jewelry. Go purple, strapless, and bejeweled like Nicollette with this look.

After spending a long day sitting on panels and fielding questions at the TCAs, the ABC and Disney stars got dressed up and hit the red carpet last night. Despite moving filming to NYC, the Ugly Betty beauties like Becki Newton (get her look here) were representing, even with no America Ferrera. Mixing our medical shows, Kate Walsh hung all over Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence celebrating life back on ABC. Nick Lachey didn't have Vanessa on his arm but looked handsome out promoting his High School Musical reality show. Check out lots more over on Buzz from all the stars and all the fun new and familiar shows!

Some of the big names at ABC hit the stage at the TCAs in LA this afternoon. Even though there was no specific Grey's Anatomy panel, the show was still the first thing on everyone's mind when Shonda Rhimes entered the room — check out all of that on Buzz. Sigh, love Peter Krause. As for Desperate Housewives, Eva's haircut is adorable in person, she got it since she was told to get a "mom" cut and didn't want to wear a wig, and we should expect to see her looking glamorous again by mid season. Mark Cherry also jokingly admitted how the 5 year flash forward got out, "I made the mistake of telling one of my actors, and the next thing I read it in the Times, going, 'Damn it, Marcia.'" From details of Ugly Betty in NYC — costumes by Pat Field who did the premiere! — to Dirty Sexy Money — with Lucy Liu! — to Private Practice — more medicine less drama! — there's so much more coverage over on Buzz.

Like Manimal one year before it, Paper Dolls lasted only two months — from September 1984 to December 1984. A prime-time soap opera set around a fictional modeling agency, the show (called Karussell der Puppen in Germany!) starred Lloyd Bridges, Morgan Fairchild, Mimi Rogers, and introduced Nicollette Sheridan. With a trailer this awesome, I wonder why it did so badly! (Bonus info: Three of the cast members went on to do Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Hahaha!)

Last night Fab was in LA among some of our favorite starlets at the opening of the fabulous new Chanel boutique on Robertson Boulevard. The report from them is that Rachel Bilson is just as adorable in person as we hoped she would be. She had the bag of the night (Hello, pink sequin Chanel!). While you all know we are partial to Ms Bilson, her new generation of guilty pleasure teen show peers, Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg represented the Gossip Girl crowd. Beautiful Angie Harmon was looking perfectly polished while Nicollette Sheridan looked good but slightly desperate as usual. Fab got some great quotes including January Jones of Mad Men three words to describe Chanel, "Can’t Live Without." We couldn't agree more.

When we last visited with Desperate Housewives, the ladies of Wisteria Lane were working to dig themselves out from the rubble of the destructive hurricane that swept through their idyllic little town. For once, all the turmoil that usually stays hidden deep within this suburban paradise was visible on the outside, too.
There's been talk of the series jumping either forward or back at some point this season, but when the show resumes tonight, we're close to where we left off: Victor's dead, Carlos is blind, and Katherine is about to lose control of the secrets she's been keeping. The promos ABC has been airing seem to give a lot away — especially with regard to who might be involved with a "surprise wedding ceremony" — but then again, this show has so many twists and turns that it's hard to ever know what to believe.
After the strike hiatus, is Desperate Housewives a show you'll pick up again? To check out a couple of promos for the episode, just read more
Since my first quiz about celebrity hair extensions was so popular, I thought I'd treat you to this sequel. Take your best guess and try to figure out who does and doesn't wear hair extensions in Hollywood — have fun!

Even though Tony couldn't be there, Eva Longoria Parker had plenty of love from her friends last night at the launch party for her new restaurant Beso in LA. Some of Wisteria Lane's finest Desperate Housewives came out to celebrate, and Bella wants to know how you feel about Nicollette Sheridan's red lipstick. Eva was looking very smiley in her summery white dress, but she did admit that she wasn't feeling one hundred percent calm, saying,
"Everything is painted, every candle is lit, every glass has arrived. So we’re not like, 'The chairs are not in!' So far there has not been a catastrophic emergency happening. So I am very excited. I'm a little nervous too. But at least I don’t have to cook."
Even if Eva had to handle the kitchen, she's never been shy about discussing her cooking skills. Speaking of which, Yum's got the recipe for Eva's tortilla soup so you can have a little Eva in your kitchen even if you can't make it to Beso just yet.
