Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale kept busy over the long weekend balancing work and play. Gwen hit the stage with No Doubt at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA on Saturday night. Gavin took the opportunity to clock some playtime with their sons earlier that day, taking Zuma and Kingston to a Santa Monica park. The father of two watched the boys climb trees and ride bikes, but he also got in on the action himself, taking a spin on Kingston's scooter. On Sunday, they spent another day in the sun, going for a hike with the boys' nanny.
Gwen's weekend show was one of six dates the band will be playing in LA. Since releasing their comeback album in September, they've been performing widely. Just a few weeks ago, they were in Germany for the 2012 MTV EMAs, and they also helped kick off the NFL season in NYC earlier in the Fall. Despite the hectic schedule, the Stefani-Rossdales have taken time-outs to celebrate the holidays. Gwen, Gavin, Kingston, and Zuma marked Thanksgiving with her parents in Southern California last week, and Gwen also spent Halloween trick-or-treating with Zuma in London while she was there for a TV appearance.
Gwen Stefani flashed her bra under an embellished jacket on the red carpet at the American Music Awards in LA tonight. She arrived with her No Doubt bandmates, whom she'll be taking the stage with during the show. They're among a long list of artists, including Justin Bieber, Usher, and Carrie Underwood, that will be performing. No Doubt will continue their live run later this month, when they kick off a series of seven concerts at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

The 2012 MTV EMAs took place in Frankfurt last night with German native Heidi Klum as host. Before the fun kicked off, she hit the red carpet in a tight, laced-up Versace gown, one of six ensembles she wore throughout the evening. Heidi said hi to attendees like Alicia Keys, Lana Del Rey, Gwen Stefani, and Taylor Swift, wearing a J. Mendel white dress, as they headed inside the city's Festhalle.
Best song honors went to "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen, and Taylor Swift won three EMAs, including best female act. Psy took home best video for "Gangnam Style" — see the full list of 2012 MTV EMA winners. Justin Bieber, who's on tour in the US, accepted best male act with a video. Performers at the show included No Doubt, Taylor Swift, and Alicia Keys. Kanye West still had a great night despite not taking home a statue. He and girlfriend Kim Kardashian indulged in PDA, and were snapped lounging on a white banquette kissing and hugging. Heidi also had a memorable time, tweeting postshow, "I thank my lucky stars for all the great opportunities I get to experience. Hope you guys had fun. . . off to the after-party!" At the bash, she made the rounds with other attendees like models Anne V and Isabeli Fontana.
Today Gwen Stefani turns 43! Gwen has been rocking out for decades, and while she's found success as a solo artist, fashion designer, and mother, we first fell in love with her as the No Doubt frontwoman. At least I know I memorized every word of the Tragic Kingdom album back in the '90s. To celebrate Gwen's big day, let's take a look at five No Doubt songs that will get you through different ups and downs, be it falling in love, breaking up, or everything in between.
Gwen Stefani and youngest son Zuma Rossdale arrived in London today via train after spending last night in Paris. No Doubt's currently in Europe promoting the release of their new album, Push and Shove, out today. Yesterday, No Doubt made a quick stopover in France to perform the album's title track live on C à Vous.
Today is all about a media blitz for Gwen and her bandmates, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont. Gwen pretaped an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that airs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She also called in this morning to chat with Carson Daly about family, touring, and the album's second video, "Push and Shove," which also came out today. The five-minute video shows Gwen and the guys partying on planes, in bars, and on the street, and coincidentally, Gwen's wearing the same black and white trench that she has on today.
The iHeartRadio Music Festival kicked off in Las Vegas last night. Ryan Seacrest emceed the event and was joined on stage at the top of the show by Britney Spears. The crowd went wild for Britney had colorful pink and blue highlights in her hair and wore a tight black minidress. No Doubt was the first act to belt out their hits, with a mix of current singles like "Settle Down" and onetime chart toppers "Don't Speak," "It's My Life," and "Hella Good." The audience got a special surprise when Pink joined Gwen Stefani on stage for "Just a Girl."
Miley Cyrus made the trip to Sin City as a presenter and teamed up with Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte to introduce Lil Wayne to the sold-out crowd. The night was a celebration of music genres with country, rap, R&B, pop, electronic, and rock artists coming together to perform. Country stars Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, who also performed with her side project the Pistol Annies, had the crowd on their feet, as did Usher, who teamed up for a duet with Swedish House Mafia, and Internet sensation Psy got lots attention for his hot dance moves. Rihanna closed down the four-hour block of live acts with a high-energy performance that included "Don't Stop the Music" and her latest release "Cockiness (Love It)." The fun continues again later today with Enrique Iglesias, Calvin Harris, Pink, and Taylor Swift expected to entertain the crowds.
