Gwen and Gavin Divide and Conquer on Thanksgiving Weekend
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale kept busy over the long weekend balancing work and play. Gwen hit the stage with No Doubt at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA on Saturday night. Gavin took the opportunity to clock some playtime with their sons earlier that day, taking Zuma and Kingston to a Santa Monica park. The father of two watched the boys climb trees and ride bikes, but he also got in on the action himself, taking a spin on Kingston's scooter. On Sunday, they spent another day in the sun, going for a hike with the boys' nanny.
Gwen's weekend show was one of six dates the band will be playing in LA. Since releasing their comeback album in September, they've been performing widely. Just a few weeks ago, they were in Germany for the 2012 MTV EMAs, and they also helped kick off the NFL season in NYC earlier in the Fall. Despite the hectic schedule, the Stefani-Rossdales have taken time-outs to celebrate the holidays. Gwen, Gavin, Kingston, and Zuma marked Thanksgiving with her parents in Southern California last week, and Gwen also spent Halloween trick-or-treating with Zuma in London while she was there for a TV appearance.

Heidi's Racy Outfits, Taylor's Wins, Kim & Kanye's PDA — MTV EMA Highlights!
The 2012 MTV EMAs took place in Frankfurt last night with German native Heidi Klum as host. Before the fun kicked off, she hit the red carpet in a tight, laced-up Versace gown, one of six ensembles she wore throughout the evening. Heidi said hi to attendees like Alicia Keys, Lana Del Rey, Gwen Stefani, and Taylor Swift, wearing a J. Mendel white dress, as they headed inside the city's Festhalle.
Best song honors went to "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen, and Taylor Swift won three EMAs, including best female act. Psy took home best video for "Gangnam Style" — see the full list of 2012 MTV EMA winners. Justin Bieber, who's on tour in the US, accepted best male act with a video. Performers at the show included No Doubt, Taylor Swift, and Alicia Keys. Kanye West still had a great night despite not taking home a statue. He and girlfriend Kim Kardashian indulged in PDA, and were snapped lounging on a white banquette kissing and hugging. Heidi also had a memorable time, tweeting postshow, "I thank my lucky stars for all the great opportunities I get to experience. Hope you guys had fun. . . off to the after-party!" At the bash, she made the rounds with other attendees like models Anne V and Isabeli Fontana.

Today Gwen Stefani turns 43! Gwen has been rocking out for decades, and while she's found success as a solo artist, fashion designer, and mother, we first fell in love with her as the No Doubt frontwoman. At least I know I memorized every word of the Tragic Kingdom album back in the '90s. To celebrate Gwen's big day, let's take a look at five No Doubt songs that will get you through different ups and downs, be it falling in love, breaking up, or everything in between.

No Doubt's currently in Europe promoting the release of their new album, Push and Shove, out today. Today is all about a media blitz for Gwen and her bandmates, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont. Gwen pretaped an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that airs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She also called in this morning to chat with Carson Daly about family, touring, and the album's second video, "Push and Shove," which also came out today. The five-minute video shows Gwen and the guys partying on planes, in bars, and on the street, and coincidentally, Gwen's wearing the same black and white trench that she has on today.
