Pamela Anderson, Bristol Palin, Kelly Monaco, and Melissa Rycroft are among the competitors coming back for Dancing With the Stars' upcoming all-star season, and I recently chatted with the ladies about their big return to the show. The women talked about what they're most excited to return to, what they're least excited about, and who their biggest competitors are. Kellan Lutz joined Jenna Dewan and Kelly Osbourne in LA on Saturday to support PETA at their 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards, which was hosted by 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin. Alec was hilarious in the season premiere of his series last week with funny costar Matt Damon, and he kept his star-studded crowd, which also included I'm Still Here pranksters Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix, laughing throughout the night. Lea Michele and Kellan were among the evening's honorees.
Kellan, though, got a head start on his weekend by going out for a jog near Runyon Canyon on Friday. He stuck with his animal loving theme by bringing along his buddy Kola. Kellan kept his sexy Calvins under wraps but fortunately showed off his toned triceps. He's back in California after a trip to Washington DC, where he volunteered at an event celebrating great communities for young people. The actor has a little more downtime to chill near home and with his girlfriend, AnnaLynne McCord, before starting work on Breaking Dawn soon.

Sculptor Marc Quinn, famous for immortalizing Kate Moss in bronze, births a new exhibit in London on Friday. Entitled "Allanah, Buck, Catman, Chelsea, Michael, Pamela and Thomas," the show examines extreme body transformations.
Bronze, silver, and marble sculptures depict pregnant man Thomas Beatie, Pamela Anderson, Michael Jackson, and Allanah Starr, a transgendered porn actress with a highly feminine figure and male genitalia. According to the White Cube gallery write-up, Quinn is fascinated by "the public's obsession with the body . . . and how this obsession has led some people to alter their bodies in increasingly extreme ways." I remember how I wanted to try climbing for years, and when I finally got myself into a harness and climbing shoes, I fell in love with the sport and have been scaling walls and rocks ever since. It's tough to jump out of our comfort zone into something new, but if you can get over your fear, or whatever obstacle is preventing you from going for it, you'll become a stronger person both physically and emotionally.
And it's never too late to give that new something a go. Take 40-something Pamela Anderson. After being kicked off Dancing With the Stars, she told Us Weekly, "I promised myself I'm going to learn how to surf this year! So I bought myself a pink surfboard and I'm going to get in the ocean!"

Pamela Anderson has two new fragrances out, and when she went on Ellen to discuss them, hilarity ensued. Ellen was adorable, Pamela was refreshingly honest about how much of the price of high-end perfume comes from expensive advertising, and her descriptions of her fragrances makes this clip well worth watching.
Many pretty young things were out in LA last night to attend the Hollywood Style Awards. Lauren Conrad took a break from thinking about the LA Candy movie to hit the white carpet in a floral dress, present an award and congratulate Young Stylemaker Brody Jenner. Kim was the lone Kardashian at the event and talked about how she's happy to let her sisters have the spotlight these days, though they're still working together on an upcoming line for Bebe. Hayden Panettiere and Selena Gomez posed in their minis and were just a few of the evening's big winners, but you guys seem split when it comes to deciding who was the best dressed.
