Promises

After a very public downward spiral, and just under 30 days in rehab, Britney Spears is back at home. Britney checked out of Promises late last night, we can only assume in order to avoid the daytime paparazzi frenzy. Her manager released a statement saying that Britney successfully completed her program and asks that everyone respect her privacy at this time. She still has a long way to go and custody issues to work out with Kevin whose birthday is today! How nice of Brit to be home in time. K-Fed also cancelled his big party tonight - perhaps to support her homecoming. We just hope for Britney to continue on the road to a full recovery, and a big comeback.

Kudos to Britney for keeping herself in rehab this time around. We're also a fan of the better looking wig. Unfortunately, the latest rumor is that she's having a tough time at Promises. Brit apparently feels that she is suffering from post-partum depression rather than a drug/alcohol dependency and that she was forced into the center against her will. No matter what her underlying issue is, we're sure that this time out of the spotlight is doing her some good. We're really pulling for Brit and hope she continues to stick it out in rehab and get on the road to a full recovery. Plus, it must be nice to know that her kids are in good hands with Kevin.

And just for fun, as long as we're wishing for Britney's big come back, we'll keep dreaming about a Justin and Britney reunion. Apparently we're not the only ones hoping for it, Timbaland is trying to make it happen!

Yes, it has been confirmed that Britney has checked into Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. Apparently her father dropped her off at the posh rehab center where many celebrities have been treated like Ben Affleck, Matthew Perry and Mel Gibson. There is still a lot of speculation about an actual intervention and why oh why Ms Brit shaved off her hair. Extra TV is reporting that the buzz cut may be thanks to a big fight with Kevin where he claimed he was going to test her hair to see what kind of crap she was up to. People is reporting that Kevin is concerned for his soon to be ex-wife. We all are Kev, we all are. Fingers crossed that she will lay low and rest up while in Promises. Now that we've seen confirmation of Brit in the center, hopefully the paparazzi can leave her alone to recover.
