Richie Sambora's run in with the law last month may end up adding more than just a DUI to his record. The Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over with his 10-year-old daughter Ava in the car. Her mother is Heather Locklear.

According to an E! report on the incident:

We did ask for a misdemeanor child endangerment charge to be filed against him,” Sgt. Jason Kravitz exclusively tells E! News. “We also recommended they charge him with misdemeanor DUI.”

While the decision will ultimately be made by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the rocker may face an even heavier charge. To see the possibility, read more

Bon Jovi guitarist and father, Richie Sambora was arrested Tuesday night in Laguna Hills for driving drunk while his ten-year-old daughter, Ava was a passenger in the car.

According to People:

The Bon Jovi guitarist was stopped around 10:52 p.m. after police said they spotted him weaving on the road, according Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz tells PEOPLE. Sambora was driving a Hummer and was with his girlfriend, daughter Ava (whose mother is ex-wife Heather Locklear) and another unidentified juvenile girl.

Though Ava's mother, Heather Locklear and the rocker are divorced, would you be able to forgive your spouse for such an incredible lapse of good judgment?

Just three weeks ago we were looking at these pictures of Denise and Richie seeming very much together asking you if you thought that these two would tie the knot this summer and now we're hearing that they broke up two months ago?!? What? According to InTouch, the couple "didn't want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful." Apparently the couple remains good friends and these pictures were taken when Denise flew out to be near Richie the day before his father passed away of cancer. While I can't say I've been behind this couple from the start, it's always sad to hear about a break up, but it's nice that these two are still able to be there for each other when they need it.
