Kate Hudson had a big weekend in NYC with her boys. She kicked things off by celebrating her 34th birthday on Friday as she strolled with Ryder and Bingham through the Tribeca neighborhood. On Sunday, Matthew Bellamy joined the group to catch a performance of Stomp. Kate and her family are on the East Coast while Kate promotes The Reluctant Fundamentalist at the Tribeca Film Festival. She's busy handling press duties today and later tonight will step out for the movie's premiere. Matthew has also been taking care of business and hit the stage with Muse for multiple dates in New York and New Jersey last week. He's heading north soon, though, since the band is scheduled to play in Canada in the coming days.

She spent quality time with her boys ahead of a special occasion. Kate turns 34 today, and she got the celebrations started early at a star-studded bash last night. Kate touched down in NYC with her boys over the weekend before Matt joined the rest of the gang on the East Coast. It's not just his family that brings him to the Big Apple, since Matt's band, Muse, played shows at Madison Square Garden on Monday and Tuesday and is gearing up for a big performance in nearby East Rutherford, NJ, on Friday.

Kate's also busy with work in the city as she promotes her film The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Although she opened the Venice Film Festival with the movie, which also stars Kiefer Sutherland and Liev Schreiber, back in August, she'll be back on the press trail at the Tribeca Film Festival next week.

Kate Hudson arrived in NYC on Saturday with her sons, Bingham Bellamy and Ryder Robinson. The trio flew in without Kate's fiancé, Bing's dad Matthew Bellamy, whose band Muse will be busy in the NYC area this week. Then Matt and his bandmates will be off to Canada for a few dates before returning to their native England. Kate's able to attend many of Matthew's shows, thanks to the fact that the two have homes in both LA and the UK. In a recent interview with Elle UK, Kate gushed about their life in England. She told the magazine, "We have a vegetable plot [in the country], an herb garden, the boys pull out carrots and collect eggs from the hens, that’s the sort of day that makes me really happy."

Kate Hudson wrapped up a trip to Miami with her sons Ryder and Bingham yesterday. Kate showed off her fresh tan while carrying 19-month-old Bing as big brother Ryder led the way at an airport in Miami. Later, Kate changed into patterned pants when her family landed in LA. She and her fiancé Matthew Bellamy got away to Miami with the boys while Matthew made a few stops on his tour with Muse. The trip wasn't all about work though, since Matthew, Ryder, and Bing spent time playing on the beach as well. Matthew has since moved onto Ohio, where he took the stage with Muse last night.

Kate's travels meant she missed Sunday's Oscars, but she did participate in the 2013 award season. Last month she got glamorous for the Golden Globes and she was back in the spotlight in London last week, when she celebrated Matthew's big night at the Brit Awards.

Kate's been on the West Coast for the last few weeks and has been mixing red-carpet events and couples time with fiancé Matthew Bellamy. Adding to Kate's busy schedule is the recent news that she was re-signed as the face of Ann Taylor and will be designing for the brand as well — Kate's collaborating on a Summer capsule collection with Creative Director Lisa Axelson. While she's getting more involved in the design process, Matt is continuing his tour with Muse. He has one more stop in London before heading to Florida and Ohio for multiple performances this month.

Kate Hudson carried her son Bingham Bellamy to Cafe Vida in Los Angeles's Pacific Palisades neighborhood for her mom Goldie Hawn's birthday lunch last week. Kate's older son, Ryder Robinson, also attended the bash for his grandma Goldie, as did Kate's brother, Oliver Hudson, his wife Erinn, and their children.

Kate and her boys are back in the states after a stint overseas, keeping her fiancé Matthew Bellamy company while he was on the road with his band Muse. Matthew has been tied up in Europe, touring with Muse to promote their latest album, The 2nd Law. Despite his busy schedule, he and Kate had plenty of adults-only evenings out, including a visit to London's Groucho Club and a dinner date in Paris. Kate's accompanied Matthew to many recent events, but she was due back in the US this month to work on her own project. She shot Larry David's Clear History in Boston alongside costars Jon Hamm, Eva Mendes, and Danny McBride. The Massachusetts location made it easy for Kate to stop in NYC to support Matthew and Muse on SNL, too.

They're together in France after Kate flew in from LA with their young son Bingham Bellamy and older child Ryder Robinson yesterday morning. Kate was in LA for the last week or so, tending to her West Coast business after a stint on the Boston set of her HBO project, Clear History. This week, Kate also had the excitement of her new Ann Taylor ads being released. Matt's got his fair share of promotional work to do, too. His band, Muse, released their sixth album, The 2nd Law, on Oct. 2, and are in the midst of a European tour. Tomorrow, they'll take the stage in Madrid before the return to France for a gig in Nantes. It seems Kate and the boys are traveling with Muse, since they were seen boarding a jet out of Paris this morning.

Kate's social evening came during a break from her work on the HBO movie Clear History. She's been in Boston working on the project with Eva Mendes and Jon Hamm, who has since moved on to start filming the next season of Mad Men.
