The leading ladies of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee hit the red carpet in NYC on Saturday evening. Blake Lively didn't address rumors she's going into business with Victoria Beckham as she smiled for the cameras, while her boyfriend Penn Badgley mingled with fellow Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford behind the scenes. Robin Wright Penn, meanwhile, showed off her new dark hairdo as she posed alongside Julianne Moore and Keanu Reeves. The film's writer and director, Rebecca Miller, brought along her husband Daniel Day-Lewis. He, in turn, was accompanied by a few of his costars in Nine, like Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard. Both films hit the box office in the coming weeks, but it looks like the two casts have nothing but support for each other.

Starlets were out in force last night to celebrate Nylon's special TV issue. 90210's AnnaLynne McCord and Shenae Grimes posed on the carpet, as did Melrose Place's Jenna Dewan. Anna Paquin is the magazine's cover girl, and she was the center of attention as she chatted with her fiance and True Blood costar Stephen Moyer. While his next project is the vampire movie Priest with Cam Gigandet, Stephen and Anna gave an interview appearing in the upcoming issue about their HBO show and their views on nudity and sex. Jessica Alba and January Jones got a head start on their Golden Globes fun with a handful of other celebs in LA yesterday. The ladies hit the gift suites before toasting at a luncheon held in January's honor. Sunday is the big night for the Mad Men star, as both she and her leading man Jon Hamm have a chance to go home with a trophy. In the meantime it looks like she's having a great time kicking back and relaxing, and you can gear up too by filling out a ballot with your predictions for the big winners.
The Emmys aren't until Sunday, but a bunch of stars already got the party started at the style lounges in LA yesterday. Ashley Tisdale, Bar Refaeli, and Stephanie Pratt were just a few of the ladies who took advantage of the opportunity to stock up on new shades, bags, and shoes among other sweet swag. Without Sienna by his side, Balthazar Getty got some male bonding time with Eric Dane before they support their respective shows on Sunday night. While most of these stars won't be up for trophies this weekend, it looks like nobody's going home empty-handed — and you can win big too by filling out an Emmy ballot on Buzz!

Britney Spears slipped into a sexy LBD and hit the blue carpet with a smile on Saturday night at the Generation Rescue Event hosted by Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. The pop star apparently sipped on red wine, looked happy and expressed interest in the information about autism Jim and Jenny presented through the night. Friday's big news about settling her custody dispute with Kevin — even though she now owes him $20,000 per month in child support — must have put Britney in a good enough mood to want to hit the town and hang out with some celebrity friends. It's not often that we get red carpet Miss Spears these days, but perhaps this is a sign that she's ready to get back out there and smile for all the cameras.

This movie didn't have a whole lot going for it in the first place, but the timing of it all just kind of forces us to call Deal a "poor man's 21," what with having a ridiculously similar storyline and everything. Bret Harrison — who is utterly adorable on Reaper — plays a smart college kid with a skill for winning at poker, though he gets even better under the tutelage of grizzled ex-gambler Tommy (Burt Reynolds). Then, of course, the protégé and the pro go head to head in a high-stakes game.
Oh, and Shannon Elizabeth (who still takes part in scripted projects, who knew?) plays a high-class prostitute. So. There's that.
Deal opens in limited release Friday April 25. To check out the preview, read more
The Broadway smash hit Wicked has found a new home in LA. Halle, Jennifer, Rosario and many more were on hand for its opening night at the Pantages Theatre. We're sure the show is going to be a big hit on the west coast as well. Last summer it was completely sold out when it came to LA for a short 7 week run. Obviously it's already quite popular with the Hollywood set.
