The ratings are coming in for the 2010 Grammys, and they're up! This year's telecast earned 35 percent more viewers than last year, giving the award show its best viewership in at least five years. How come? My money is on the performances of the evening, which felt even more spectacular than in the past. Between Michael Jackson's 3-D tribute, and Pink spinning from the ceiling, there was plenty to ogle. Ready to recap the biggest ones of the night? Let's go over them, and tell me what you think: love it or leave it?
David's the Only Beckham Boy to Check Out the Lakers
David Beckham kept himself occupied last night while watching the Lakers take on the Houston Rockets in LA. His usual basketball companions Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz didn't go along for the game, though they did have some fun family time earlier in the weekend watching David play with his own team. Victoria is off for another trip to Europe, leaving her four boys back home in California. She's rumored to be working on a new modeling agency with her manager Simon Fuller, and Blake Lively just may be their first hire.

Fergie Gets Chatty and Charitable For a Night Out with Rihanna
Fergie took a night out of her busy social schedule to join her bandmates at a benefit for their Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation. It must have been an exciting evening before this morning's announcement that Taboo's wife is pregnant with their first child. Josh didn't join in the celebration, but Fergie took the chance to open up about their future — despite the fact that you guys already think their wedding photos were TMI. Of their plans she said, "Definitely want to have babies but first I have the Black Eyed Peas album and a tour to do." Fergie's got a lot on her plate, but it's great she took some time to gather friends like Slash and Rihanna to celebrate a good cause before Sunday's Grammys.

Fergie Rocks Out to the Nines For Double the Birthday Fun
Fergie was in Las Vegas last night for a double birthday bash, but this time it wasn't her own. She and Josh Duhamel helped Slash of Guns N' Roses mark his big day with a show and a huge cake while Fergie's dad Pat celebrated his too with a slightly smaller version. Fergie took the stage with the band, which is perfect practice for her upcoming performance at this year's Fashion Rocks. Even more exciting, however, is that Fergie recently signed on for her first major movie role in the musical Nine alongside costars like Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Daniel Day-Lewis. Sounds like a pretty interesting group so we can't wait to see what that one is all about.

Fergie's Still Talking, the Girl Can't Help it
After a quick stop by Fashion Week in NYC, Fergie was back in musical mode at the 4th Annual Peapod Foundation Benefit Concert in LA yesterday. She and John Legend got to practice their big Grammy duet, and Fergie also got to spend some time with her fellow Black Eyed Peas. The outgoing pop star always has plenty to say for herself, and in a recent interview she talked about everything from her man to Josh to her music to addressing those pregnancy rumors. Here are highlights:
- On trying to maintain some privacy in her relationship with Josh: "It's hard, I have a really big mouth so I talk too much. We don't do red carpets together or photoshoots in our kitchen for magazines. But we go to movies and we're normal people so sometimes they catch you."
- On comparing herself to Princess Di in Blender: "Oh gosh, that interview! I was talking major trash. I regret saying that. Sometimes I feel I'm so familiar with the person I'm talking with, and I have a big mouth. Please don't take it all too seriously. I apologise for putting myself and Princess Di in the same sentence. It was meant as a joke. It doesn't really translate in print. My grandma called me about that! It's my New Year's resolution not to treat interviews as therapy sessions or think I'm hanging out with my buddies."

It's Black and White for Men at the AMAs
The men kept it pretty boring for last night's American Music Awards in LA. Seriously, not a single color among 'em? It almost makes Taye's business casual khaki pants look daring, almost. Lenny looked sexy, as he does, while Akon was dressed for the tundra. Is it just me or does he look perpetually cold because of those huge jackets? Thankfully the women were there to spice up the red carpet and add some shimmer and shine, because by themselves the men weren't taking any chances. Maybe next red carpet Seacrest should try out some color? Something nice and bright, perhaps in velvet? Just a simple request. Check out the full list of the night's winners here.

Fab Gift Guide: All the Young Dudes

I know you're picturing that famous scene in Clueless when the song "All the Young Dudes" comes on and we see a group of sloppy dudes in slow motion walking in their baggy pants, mismatched separates, and backwards baseball caps. That's the look I was going for here — just Fabified. Young dudes will wear what they will, but you can always try to point them in the right direction. Here are some pointers.

Fergie and Bandmates Like Peas in a Peapod
Okay, Fergie, you've won back my heart. She looked simply adorable at en event last night in honor of the Peapod Foundation, a charity set up by the Black Eyed Peas. What can I say, the girl looks smashing in red. I'm sure that her bandmates are happy to have their lady by their side again, too. Now I just wish that she would bring that boyfriend of hers to more of these red carpet events...
