Elle Fanning posed with her onscreen dad Stephen Dorff and director Sofia Coppola at the LA premiere of Somewhere last night. The trio reunited at the Louis Vuitton-hosted event after Sofia and Stephen attended the film's Parisian debut last month. Elle is following in her older sister Dakota's actor footsteps by taking on more mature projects. The younger Fanning recently signed on to work with another big-name director, Cameron Crowe, in the upcoming adaptation of We Bought a Zoo. Somewhere is out in limited release around Christmas and most of you are excited to have hot, sometimes shirtless, Stephen back in the spotlight.

>> As Marion Cotillard's Lady Dior saga is coming to a close — her final installment of ads, "Lady Grey," just debuted with a short film directed by John Cameron Mitchell — Natalie Portman's own Dior saga is just beginning. Portman's upcoming Miss Dior Cherie campaign was just announced and will break on TV and in print in March. Tim Walker and Sofia Coppola, the team who worked on the launch of former Miss Dior Cherie face Maryna Linchuk back in 2008, are back to do the print and TV ads, respectively, with Portman. Of her co-star in the TV ads, Portman said: "I felt like a big old cougar. He's, like, 20."

Alber Elbaz Pulls Out the Stops at Lanvin for H&M Fashion Show

>> Alber Elbaz and the Lanvin team descended on New York's Pierre Hotel Thursday evening, transforming it with palm fronds, caged parakeets, models in French maid outfits, and little old men offering up champagne, scotch, crustless tea sandwiches, and macaroons, to show off their H&M collaboration.

At the runway's entrance, a rose-filled arch set with "Lanvin Hearts H&M" in fluorescent lights; to the side of that, a salsa band played live music. And above the runway, there were 20 crystal chandeliers. The venue was packed, to say the least —  Sofia Coppola, Patrick Demarchelier, Shala Monroque, Sally Singer, and Grace Coddington were all there, plus more than a handful of other designers sitting front row: Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Tory Burch, Alexander Wang, Anna Sui.

Katie Grand styled the show — and the models were told to engage with the audience — so Siri Tollerod, as veiled bride, tossed her bouquet; Pixie Geldof strutted down in her gender-bending suit; Anna Dello Russo, walked with a gray standard poodle at her side; and Julia Frakes made her runway debut. The clothes were couture riffs on the Lanvin for H&M collection — on sale to benefit Unicef now — but afterward, there was a frenzy for the Lanvin for H&M collection pop-up shop set up downstairs. Many editors walked away with multiple bags, Coppola bought the tulle jacket, and even Wang did a little shopping of his own.

A video of the show can be seen here.

Ryan Gosling Brings His Mom to Join the Girls at the Governors Awards

Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mom, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night.

Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mom, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night. The birthday boy celebrated his 30th at Disneyland on Friday, and while he's had plenty of memorable onstage moments in the past, the evening was all about the honorees like Francis Ford Coppola and Eli Wallach. Sofia Coppola came out to support her dad alongside Natalie Portman in a gorgeous purple Lanvin gown, a Marchesa-wearing Hilary Swank, and Elle Fanning in Valentino. The ladies were joined by guests Stephen Dorff, who recently showed off his shirtless physique, Justin Long, and Josh Brolin, who stuck by his red-hot wife, Diane Lane.

Would You Be Excited to See Stephen Dorff Back in the Limelight?

Stephen Dorff joined his Somewhere director, Sofia Coppola, on Thursday for their Paris premiere.

Stephen Dorff joined his Somewhere director, Sofia Coppola, on Thursday for their Paris premiere. He's the star of the dreamy-looking new film, which arrives in theaters this December. It's been a while since Stephen got attention as a leading man, and in recent years he's basically stayed out of the spotlight. He's still quite a good-looking guy and has that bad boy appeal. Plus, Somewhere is one of the most anticipated movies left this year, so we're wondering — would you be excited to see Stephen Dorff back in the limelight?

Found It! Cold Beer Poster in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere

I just saw the trailer for Sofia Coppola's new film, Somewhere, out Dec.

I just saw the trailer for Sofia Coppola's new film, Somewhere, out Dec. 22, in theaters and was so anxious to see the film that I ran home to watch the trailer again. The premise of the story is that a sort of hard-living, bad boy actor (Stephen Dorff) is living in the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles and reconnects with his young daughter (Elle Fanning), which makes him reconsider his life of excess. Thus, the moody, atmospheric film treats us to some stellar hotel interiors. When I was watching the trailer, I couldn't help but notice this awesome poster that reads "Cold Beer Beautiful Girls" leaning against a hotel room wall — could there be a better motto to describe every man's dreams?

I did a little digging and discovered the artist. Wondering who made it? Then continue reading!

Jake Adds His Manly Touch to Elle's Women in Hollywood Event With Kate, Gwyneth, Diane, and More

Elle magazine took over LA last night to host its 17th annual Women in Hollywood event.

Elle magazine took over LA last night to host its 17th annual Women in Hollywood event. The gray carpet was full of color, with both Diane Kruger and Gwyneth Paltrow opting for bright Calvin Klein numbers. Kate Hudson, meanwhile, went with a black Prabal Gurung dress and a daring side-swept hairstyle. Rachel Zoe covered up her supposed baby bump with one of her favorite flowing gowns and even a Rachel Zoe for QVC fur, while Jake Gyllenhaal went classic in his Burberry suit. We were able to grab a minute with Kate as she headed inside to her waiting boyfriend, Matt Bellamy. After seeing her sing on this season of The Rachel Zoe Project, we wondered about her venturing into music — she said she wouldn't rule out releasing an album, but she's more likely to do Broadway first. Stay tuned later for video from the party to see what Diane had to say about her new movie and the best piece of style advice she's ever received!

Kate and Matt were seated side by side at their table, where they sipped champagne and kept the PDA coming. Both Kate and Gwyneth are featured in Elle's November issue, and they were each honored at the bash along with Diane. Kate took the stage to say a few words after being introduced by her mother, Goldie Hawn. Jake had kind words to share about his Proof costar Gwyneth, saying, "Bottom line, she is not a mere mortal like the rest of us. She is an Internet-savvy, award-winning lifestyle guru, making all of us look lazy."
