There must be something about Something Borrowed! At last night's premiere in LA, the entire cast was buzzing about how the movie has brought on a case of the wedding bells for its stars. Kate Hudson just announced her engagement last week to her rocker fiancé, Matt Bellamy, but costar Ginnifer Goodwin also recently got engaged. Coincidence? Watch and decide for yourself.
He then parted her hair on the left at a slight angle and blow-dried with a large round brush. To prevent flyaways and add more shine, Babaii worked in a bit more Pequi Oil to the finished look. Want to snag a similar shade of golden blond like Kate? Babaii recommends the brand's Luxeblend Crème Hair Colour in Light Golden Blonde ($30).
Mom-to-be Kate Hudson showed off a radiant look last night at the Something Borrowed premiere in LA wearing a pale yellow chiffon dress from Versace's Fall 2011 collection. For extra glow, Kate accompanied her gown with a Ferragamo clutch, Chrome Hearts jewels, and gold peep-toe pumps. We love it. Get the same look with a similar sunny strapless dress ($269), Christian Louboutin gold pumps ($795), and a pop of light pink lips. Don't forget to shop the rest of the outfit above!

Kate Hudson wowed in Versace last night on the blue carpet at the LA premiere of Something Borrowed. She headed to the West Coast shortly after wearing a gold Stella McCartney number to Monday night's big Costume Institute Gala in NYC, where her costar, Ginnifer Goodwin, ranked among your Met Ball best dressed in green Topshop. The ladies shared the spotlight yesterday with their leading men, John Krasinski and Colin Egglesfield. John was back in Hollywood following some jet-setting of his own, as he spent the weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan visiting wife Emily Blunt on the set of her Jason Segel-penned new movie Five Year Engagement. John spoke to us before heading into the screening not about life as a husband, but about his excitement at being in the film's sequel and a part of such a well-loved book series. Kate and Ginnifer, both engaged to be married themselves, shared about being in love. Ginnifer revealed that she and Kate have been trading wedding tips, while Kate says she's just enjoying being so happy at the moment. Stay tuned later to see more from the event on PopSugar Rush!
Something Borrowed, starring Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin, debuts in theaters Friday, and there's no doubt it'll be a hit amongst the ladies. With handsome heartthrobs and hopefully a happy ending, the film promises to meet my chick-flick criteria, and it's also got plenty of decorating eye candy for us to woo over. Let's take a gander at some of the interiors, and I'll show you how to get the look in your home!
Ginnifer Goodwin says she isn't a fan of your run-of-the-mill "chick lit," which is exactly why she was attracted to the role of Rachel in Something Borrowed. We chatted with the actress at the recent press day for the movie, which follows longtime best friends whose bond is tested when they both fall for the same guy. Ginnifer told us the story raises some big questions about life and love that make it more than your typical romantic comedy. She also admitted to going through friend breakups as an adult, talked about how she and Kate Hudson grew close during the shoot, and gave us a preview of what's next for her following the bittersweet end of Big Love. Check out our interview with Ginnifer and starting tomorrow, watch our newest episode of I'm a Huge Fan, as our latest winner scores the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet Kate Hudson in person!
Kate Hudson and Colin Egglesfield play picture-perfect engaged couple Darcy and Dex in the upcoming, big-screen adaptation of Something Borrowed. Their good-looking characters seem to have it all figured out — until a missed opportunity from Dex's past reappears and changes everything. We sat down with Kate, who is just a couple of months away from welcoming her second child, and Colin, at the recent press day for the movie. They talked about why this isn't your typical romantic comedy and shared some fun memories about doing a little partying in the Hamptons during the shoot. Colin also raved about having Kate and Ginnifer Goodwin as his leading ladies for his first feature role. Check out our interview and later this week watch our I'm a Huge Fan winner meet Kate in person!
The month of May brings much more than warmer temperatures: with Memorial Day weekend comes the kick off of Summer blockbusters! You don't have to wait until the end of the month for hot new releases though, from comic book films to much anticipated comedies, there are plenty of reasons to head to the box office this month. Which May release are you most excited about?
Just as I got up at the crack of dawn with my mother and sister to watch Di and Charles wed, I set my alarm for four this morning, donned my fanciest hat (purchased for Royal Ascot during my years in London), and gathered with my mother and own satisfyingly brainwashed-to-care children to watch this generation’s version of the royal wedding. As we sipped Earl Grey and munched on iced royal-nuptial sugar cookies, I tweeted the action, entranced by every detail of Kate and Will's magical day. Thirty years from now, here is what I will remember most:
- A "people's wedding" with pomp and circumstance. Just as the guest list included celebrities, royals, and dignataries, as well as the butcher, grocer and postman of Kate's Berkshire village, the ceremony managed to be both formal and intimate at once, a tricky balancing act. Even the avenue of English field maple trees placed along the aisle (Kate's idea, natch) brightened the somber, thousand-year-old abbey doubling as a final resting place of 17 monarchs. Right out of the gate, Kate proves that she can respect tradition — yet do things her way — with warmth and style.
- The dress, the dress! Kate looked positively stunning in her Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen ivory, hand-laced gown. While Diana's dress conjured an overdone child's drawing (no surprise, since she herself was a teenager!), Kate's gown was elegant and sophisticated, wonderfully reminiscent of Grace Kelly. A real, grown-up princess. (And, of course, I'd be remiss not to mention Kate's "something borrowed" — a 1936 Cartier tiara, on loan from the Queen herself, per royal wedding tradition. Beautiful.)
- Picture-perfect Pippa and hot Harry. In contrast to the hideously comical, Dr. Seuss-esque selections of the Princesses of York, Eugenie and Beatrice. Oh, no they didn't.
- Prince William’s one-liner to his soon-to-be father-in-law . . . “just a small family affair!” I love that he loves her family — another good sign.

Kate Hudson stopped by The Late Show yesterday to promote her upcoming movie Something Borrowed with host David Letterman, but the conversation quickly turned to her happy family news. Kate is expecting a child with her fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. She told David she doesn't want to find out the sex of the baby until she welcomes her little one to the world, but that she has a feeling the infant's a girl!
