Melanie Brown slipped into a white bikini and hit the pool with husband Stephen Belafonte yesterday. He rubbed her feet and couldn't keep his hands off his pregnant wife during the sunny outing. Mel B is one of three former Spice Girls who are currently expecting babies, with Victoria Beckham having her first girl this Summer and Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, welcoming a new addition in May. Melanie has been sharing all the stages of her bump so far, blogging pictures for all of her fans. Melanie and Stephen are coming up on their fourth wedding anniversary and this will be their first child together, though she has two and he has one from previous relationships.

It was a rainy green faux grass carpet for last night's seventh annual Global Green Pre-Oscars Party at Avalon in LA, which meant that many of the stars rushed in to keep from getting wet. Jessica Alba in a Viktor and Rolf dress and Cash Warren huddled close under their umbrella, only stopping to take a couple of photos while Joel and Benji Madden avoided the carpet almost entirely on their way into provide the evening's entertainment. James Cameron, whose Avatar is up for a bunch of awards at Sunday's Oscars and is touted for its environmental message, took cover under an enormous umbrella to grant a few interviews on his way into the bash, which supports a cause that is obviously important to him. The inclement weather expected this weekend may mean another rainy red carpet for the Academy Awards, something the stars are used to this award season after the downpour at the Golden Globes.

Last night some of music's finest gathered to recognize those behind the hits. The ASCAP is about the songwriters, composers, producers and more. Justin Timberlake's BFF Timbaland cleaned up with nine awards including songwriter of the year. Fergie and Gwen Stefani tied for song of the year and Lionel Richie was recognized with ASCAP's Golden Note Award. Nicole looked beautiful posing with her dad and sassy little sister. She continues to prove she is more focused on family life than a good party although from the look on JT's face this was a pretty fun event.

In the midst of the Spice Girl reunion frenzy and Eddie Murphy drama, we (and the rest of the world) seem to have missed the fact that Melanie Brown got married to her boyfriend, Stephen Belafonte back in June. The small secret wedding was an intimate affair in Las Vegas. That being said, we wish the couple all the best and hope Mel has finally found herself a man that will treat her well. Unfortunately, it looks like we may have to wait to get all the juicy details, as the Spice Girl has canceled her scheduled spot on Larry King because she's feeling a bit under the weather. Seems like she's having a fine time enjoying the weather to us, but we'll let it slide since she's obviously enjoying being a newlywed.
