David Beckham stepped out in LA last night for Time Warner's launch of their Sportsnet and Deportes networks. The two channels, currently only available in LA, will focus on the city's teams the Lakers and David's own Galaxy. David kept company with some of sports' other biggest names, including Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, and his fellow LA Galaxy player Landon Donovan. Becks and Landon are home on the West Coast after a weekend jaunt to Colorado, where they took on, and tied, the Rapids in a match.
Yesterday, David walked the carpet to chat with reporters about both sports and family. David even dished on life with his and Victoria's youngest, daughter Harper. David said, "She's great. She's been running around for a few months now, so we're all chasing her and catching her when she falls. It's great to have another lady in the house. . . . She kicks a ball around, but she also carries handbags."
Baby announcements don't usually include the demise of a marriage, but for Steve Nash it did. On Friday, the Phoenix Suns basketball player welcomed his third child, a son, and spoke of his divorce from his wife of five years. The couple also have twin daughters, Lola and Bella, 6.
