Iman hit the red carpet at the ninth annual Style Awards in NYC last night. The supermodel looked sleek and polished in a head-to-toe Rachel Zoe look, and talked about the importance of personal style. She also shared her advice for aspiring models, and warned to not become "a hanger for hire." It's all in this Fab Flash!
We were on the red carpet at the ninth annual Style Awards in NYC last night to celebrate some of our favorite tastemakers. Celebs like Nicole Richie and Katie Holmes were on hand to give out awards, and we even got to speak with some of our most-loved designers about what helps them get rid of any Fashion Week jitters. While Carolina Herrera copped to being nervous "always," Stacey Bendet had a different cure: tequila! See it all now in today's Fab Flash.
The ladies who attended last night's 2012 Style Awards in NYC showed off their own fashion choices on the red carpet. Amy Adams modeled an eggplant Giambattista Valli number, while Nicole Richie left little to the imagination in her Anthony Vaccarello dress. Nicole was there to honor her hairstylist and pal, Andy Lecompte, and the duo posed for pictures together. We were on the red carpet catching up with some of the stars including Iman and Carolina Herrera — stay tuned for that video later today on Fab Flash!
Katie Holmes dressed in a Carolina Herrera skirt-and-shirt combo, and later presented a statue to Carolina herself. It was a big night for Katie — the show was her first official public appearance since divorcing Tom Cruise. Katie also has some celebrating to do as it was just announced that she's the new face of Bobbi Brown. Bobbi gushed about nabbing Katie as her first-ever ambassador, saying, "We bonded . . . We weren't looking for a celebrity, just a cool, amazing woman who would fit with our brand. And she's just ridiculously naturally beautiful."
Last night's Style Awards in NYC brought out a range of fashionable guests. Katie Holmes made a special appearance to honor Carolina Herrera as designer of the year. Ed Westwick, who showed off a new, partially-shaved hairdo, picked up a statue as One to Watch. A Giambattista Valli-clad Amy Adams was on hand to present an accolade to stylist Cristina Ehrlich, and Nicole Richie showed some skin on stage while talking up hairstylist of the year Andy Lecompte. The celebration went down just one day before NYFW officially begins — make sure to check back for the latest on all the shows, celebrities, and parties!
