Matthew Broderick was able to take his kids James Wilkie, Loretta, and Tabitha out trick-or-treating in NYC yesterday. James was armed with a toy sword during his adventures while Tabitha was too cute as a strawberry and Loretta was a sheep. Sarah Jessica Parker wasn't able to join in on the fun since she's Down Under doing promotional work. This morning, she rose early for a photo call on behalf of I Don't Know How She Does It at the Crown hotel in Melbourne. Matthew has been busy doing his own interview circuit ahead of Tower Heist's opening this Friday. Last week, he swung by Live With Regis and Kelly and is due on Conan Wednesday.

Sarah Jessica Parker rounded up all the kids and headed out in NYC this morning. Twins Tabitha and Loretta, along with SJP and the nanny, joined James Wilkie on his daily walk to school. SJP's husband, Matthew Broderick, often joins James on the morning stroll, but in the upcoming weeks she might take over the daily routine while Matthew promotes Tower Heist. The crime comedy with Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller hits theaters on Nov. 4, and Matthew begins the morning talk show circuit Monday with an appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly. Hopefully, Matthew's work travels won't take him away from the Big Apple on Halloween so he can trick-or-treat with SJP and their little ones.

Sarah Jessica Parker ventured out of her NYC brownstone today with twins Loretta and Tabitha. The busy mother of three has been escorting the girls, as well as her son James Wilkie, to and from school lately, though she's also made time in her schedule for the occasional social appearance. The second season of Bravo's Work of Art, which she produces, kicked off Wednesday night, and SJP recently chatted about the show and shared her excitement over her Sex and the City costar Kristin Davis's adoption news. The baby announcement came as a surprise to many, and SJP expressed her happiness for Kristin. Sarah Jessica said, "She lives in Los Angeles, and I live here [in New York], so I’ve not met her [baby] yet, but I’m so happy for her and I just could not be happier for Kristin. . . . It’s a wonderful situation. I know she’s wanted to have a family for a long time, and she deserves that unique kind of happiness that children bring, and I’m so happy for her."

Once she landed back in the States, SJP also hit the town several times in September for Fashion's Night Out and a gala for the NYC Ballet, one of her favorite organizations. Right now, she's enjoying a gap in her big-screen duties before New Year's Eve hits theaters later this year. The film has an impressive cast, including Zac Efron, Halle Berry, and Abigail Breslin, who plays Sarah Jessica's daughter.

One job off SJP's plate, though, is with Halston; Sarah Jessica Parker and Halston parted ways recently after a year and a half of collaboration. She'll have more multitasking to do this month in the run-up to the release of I Don't Know How She Does It in September. The movie opens on Sept. 16, and it also stars Christina Hendricks, Seth Meyers, and Pierce Brosnan. Next up for SJP will be a stint in a recording studio, as she's officially joined the cast of the animated film Escape From Planet Earth.
