The Edge of Love

Last night Pop and Fab UK got to attend a private party with Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller for their new movie, The Edge of Love, at the Berkeley Hotel in London. The ladies looked beautiful in their purple and white dresses — click here to learn more about what they are wearing and who they brought as their dates. Keira admitted to being scared to sing on camera, but she had no problem taking off her bra. She said, "It was very simple. It was a sex scene and I never like them when they've got bras on." So when the director asked her to remove her bra, "I said, 'All right then.'" People love to debate Keira's confidence with her body, but it looks like she has no problem showing it off.

Keira Knightley headed north to Scotland after her radio interview in London yesterday to meet up with her co-stars from The Edge of Love for a photocall — where Sienna showed off a striped dress from her own line — and premiere of their film today. The girls posed on the red carpet with pal Matthew Rhys, whose close relationship with Sienna caused the jealousy that lead to her split from Rhys. It can't be easy for Rhys to see Sienna back next to Matthew, but seeking advice from Lindsay Lohan's sketchy ex, Calum Best, is probably not the best thing for a broken heart. Apart from the turmoil in her personal life, things are going great for Sienna professionally; she just landed a role in Ridley Scott's remake of Robin Hood alongside Russell Crowe.

Wow, the trailer for The Edge of Love (previously titled The Best Time of Our Lives) looks breathtakingly beautiful. The film follows the true story of a love triangle between the poet Dylan Thomas (played by Brothers and Sisters' Matthew Rhys!), his wife Caitlin (Sienna Miller) and a woman named Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley). Vera eventually married William Killick (the ever-chilling Cillian Murphy) but still couldn't tear herself away from her poet — despite becoming close friends with Caitlin. In the strange real-life story, the jealous William ultimately attacked Dylan and Caitlin's house.

Comparisons could be made to Atonement, for sure, as the visual tone of the film has that same sweeping, desperate romance (and the hair, makeup and costume artists have done an impeccable job on this film as well). Knightley even says her husky "Come back" in the trailer. But it also looks distinctly, grippingly different. Especially for those of you who enjoyed Becoming Jane, or any number of other dramatic films about writers' lives, you must treat yourself to this extremely beautiful trailer.

There's no U.S. release date yet (sad!) but the film premieres at the Edinburgh Film Festival on June 18 and opens elsewhere in the UK June 20. To watch the trailer, read more

Keira and Sienna got giggly on the set of The Best Time of Our Lives in North Wales this week. Since Sienna's already been spotted in NYC, we have a feeling Keira will be leaving the UK as well - to grace a lot of red carpets with her hot Pirates co-stars. Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End hits the theaters on May 25th, and while the hype hasn't been quite up to Spider-man level, we're willing to bet that the franchise will give Spidey a run for its money. Is it just me, or is Sienna channeling a tiny bit of Rachel McAdams cuteness in these photos of her on the set of The Best Time of Our Lives? Maybe it's just the slightly Notebook-esque hair.* While it's still weird to see Sienna as a non-blonde, it's honestly refreshing to see her having so much fun on set, even all bundled up. With Keira about to step into serious gear promoting Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, I think we'll be seeing a lot of solo Sienna on set. She must be sad to be losing her buddy for a bit.

*Okay, maybe I just miss The Notebook.

Sienna and Keira are living up to the name of their latest film, The Best Time of Our Lives. The co-stars just started filming in North Wales and while it may not be sunny and gorgeous, these girls seem to be having a blast together. I can't say so much about their unfashionable looks but I will give them a break since I have to assume it has something to do with their characters' costumes. I could hardly imagine Sienna wearing that in real life. Looks like Lindsay missed out on a fun time since Sienna just took her place. Besides, LL is going to be busy covering up that coke scandal.

Lindsay is looking, well...gold for the upcoming issue of Allure magazine in which she gives one of her usually bizarre interviews. We've been a little worried about LL who's once again partying like crazy and just dropped out of The Best Time of Our Lives which she was supposed to start shooting in early May. Luckily producers didn't have to look too far for a replacement. Sienna Miller will now be put in the role as Dylan Thomas' wife and lesbian love interest of his childhood friend played by Keira Knightley. Have to say this is probably a better match. We just can't picture Lindsay with an English accent!
