Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear were on set again for The Kennedys miniseries in Toronto today. They were filming a serious scene, reenacting the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Katie even donned a pink suit reminiscent of the iconic Chanel number that Jackie wore on the actual day in 1963. She has a busy production schedule, but promotion for The Romantics is under way — she was featured in a J. Crew spread alongside costars Josh Duhamel and Adam Brody, and she was solo on the cover of New York Magazine.

Katie Holmes looked animated yesterday on the Toronto set of The Kennedys. She's in Canada working on the History Channel miniseries following a stay in LA, and Katie's fashion-forward daughter, Suri, went along for the trip to Canada. Katie Holmes was back in costume today to continue working on The Kennedys in Toronto. Instead of having Suri's company between scenes, Katie shared the set with a young costar. Katie started filming the miniseries back in June, but shooting hasn't slowed down her travel schedule — she's been bouncing between Canada, New York, and LA. She talked about balancing her busy schedule with that of her husband, Tom Cruise, in her recent New York Magazine interview, in which she also spoke about the intense interest in their marriage and Suri's love of fashion. Katie's jet-setting won't slow down in the run-up to the release of her movie The Romantics, and she's front and center in its new trailer.

Katie Holmes gave Suri a twirl during a visit to the set of The Kennedys in Toronto with her older sister Isabella yesterday. Suri was being quite the social butterfly, and even made a new friend! Katie was once again decked out in her Jackie O wardrobe, which included at least four different outfits — red, white, and blue included — in one day. Katie left Jackie's classic brown bob behind and opted for curls during a quick trip to NYC on Monday to promote The Extra Man, but was back in character immediately upon her return to Canada. Meanwhile, Tom Cruise was an ocean away flashing that movie star smile as he premiered Knight and Day in Munich with Cameron Diaz.

Katie Holmes changed into a pale blue dress yesterday to continue filming The Kennedys with costar Greg Kinnear in Canada, after wearing red on set earlier in the day. The actress got right back to work on her History Channel miniseries following a quick trip Monday to NYC, where she made an appearance to promote her film The Extra Man. At the screening, Katie spoke about the iconic clothes she gets to wear playing Jackie Kennedy. She said, "Her great style was both appropriate for every event that she went to and also classic, and also things that were wearable. I feel really lucky to be playing her." Katie also opened up about her home life with Tom and Suri by commenting, "Every day my husband inspires me, my family . . . my daughter. We're always sort of creating new things, whether it's a party or, you know, a script or a movie . . . We try to have a very creative household."

She made her debut on set as the first lady a couple weeks ago and appears right at home sporting Jackie's iconic fashion. She signed on to play the role of Jackie Kennedy in the upcoming History Channel miniseries, which is the brainchild of 24 cocreator Joel Surnow. Katie headed north with Suri after a stay in NYC, where she joined Tom Cruise for a date night and met up with her costars from The Romantics. Over the weekend, Katie and Suri were able to get acquainted with their temporary hometown and even ventured out to do some strawberry picking.
