Britney Campaigns For Carly at The X Factor Finale's First Night

The X Factor season two finale kicked off last night and now the three finalists will have to wait until this evening to find out who will win The X Factor.

The X Factor season two finale kicked off last night and now the three finalists will have to wait until this evening to find out who will win The X Factor. The three finalists — Fifth Harmony, Tate Stevens, and Carly Rose Sonenclar — all performed three songs, including duets with music superstars. Fifth Harmony performed with judge Demi Lovato, Tate Stevens took the stage with Little Big Town, and Carly Rose Sonenclar sang a duet with LeAnn Rimes. Hosts Khloé Kardashian and Mario Lopez served as MCs for the live event, which included guests like the Jersey Shore cast and previous X Factor castoffs. The finale will finish off with a two-hour show tonight, during which One Direction will perform and the winner will be announced. Britney, who serves as Carly's mentor, has been campaigning hard for her protégée on Twitter, even following back fans who vote for her.

The finale wasn't the only big news for the X Factor judges. Simon Cowell confirmed that he's dating Carmen Electra. Simon said, "She's not my girlfriend. We're people who date. She's adorable, isn't she?"

Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie Wants to Pay The Situation to Stop Wearing Its Clothes

In an effort to protect its brand (or so they claim), Abercrombie & Fitch issued a statement requesting Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino to stop wearing its clothes on the Jersey Shore reality TV show.

In an effort to protect its brand (or so they claim), Abercrombie & Fitch issued a statement requesting Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino to stop wearing its clothes on the Jersey Shore reality TV show. Here's what the firm had to say:

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael 'The Situation' Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”

This move seems more like another marketing ploy than a serious gesture. After all, the clothier once tried to capitalize on the Jersey Shore fame by selling a "Fitchuation" t-shirt last year. What do you guys think of the retailer's latest controversial move?

Protein Infused Vodka: Recovery Drink For the Party Set?

So this is, um, interesting.

So this is, um, interesting. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is leaving the Jersey Shore for a bit and West Coastin' it. On Saturday the trainer-turned-reality star will be in San Francisco signing bottles of Devotion vodka. If you've ever seen the Jersey Shore, pairing anyone from the cast with a vodka promotion probably isn't too surprising. The Jersey Shore crew likes to drink often and a lot. What is surprising is the actual product, Devotion vodka — it's protein infused! Whatever happened to using fruit?

I'm not sure who came up with this, but I think "The Situation" is the perfect spokesperson. He can still get his drink on and not worry about his abs turning into flab. I am totally kidding, obviously — I think I'm still shocked by the idea that someone is infusing vodka with protein. According to the Devotion vodka website, the protein gives its vodka a "smooth mouth feel."

And while Devotion vodka isn't marketing itself as having any health benefits (by law, it's not allowed to), "The Situation" is all about it: "The protein fits very well with my lifestyle, and this is the only vodka to have it."

What's next, fried Twinkies coated with chia seeds?
