The Today Show

Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds stopped by the Today show in NYC this morning to promote their new animated film, The Croods. The duo answered questions about voicing an animated film and joked about the accessories and attitudes of their Stone Age characters. Emma joked that the girl she plays, Eep, is obsessed with shoes just like most other women, and Ryan quipped about his character Guy's interest in a fanny pack. Doing voice work, though, suited Ryan just fine. He said, "What other kind of showbiz job do you get to roll out of bed in a muumuu and a scrunchie and jump in a booth and just have fun?"

Emma is putting in time to promote The Croods after a busy week of shooting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with her boyfriend and costar, Andrew Garfield. Ryan and Emma will have a bit more work to do together before The Croods hits theaters March 27.

Nicole Richie was well accessorized to make the talk-show rounds in NYC yesterday. Wearing round glasses, a leather jacket, and a statement necklace, Nicole visited the Today show and The Rachael Ray Show after a trip to Paris Fashion Week, where Nicole sat front row at Valentino and mingled with other stylish celebrities. Later on in the afternoon, Nicole changed into a furry black jacket and fringed top to continue making the Big Apple rounds.

Nicole's not just a spectator, but also a designer herself, and she's been busy building her own fashion empire. She recently found a new face for one of her lines — Nicole chose Sasha Spielberg, daughter of Steven Spielberg, to star in a Spring 2013 campaign. Nicole will also be showing off her style chops on Fashion Star, which returns to NBC tonight, and has been chatting up the reality competition at her various interviews this week.

Robert Pattinson swung by the Today show this morning to chat up his latest movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2. The finale in the Twilight series hits theaters on Nov. 16, next Friday. He and costar Kristen Stewart have been busy making the press rounds on behalf of the picture for the last few weeks. Yesterday, she swung by Live! With Kelly and Michael, as well as the Today show, and wrapped up her day on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. This morning, Rob had plenty to say about his last go-round as Edward Cullen. He told Today's Savannah Guthrie that the nickname he's received as a result of his Twilight fame is not exactly a great one. Of the moniker RPatz, Rob said, "I don't understand what the nickname culture is. If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it'd be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet."

Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill were together this morning for a visit to The Today Show in NYC. Brad talked with Ann Curry about Moneyball and the film's many Oscar nominations. He's in the running to take home a best actor statue, while Jonah's up for his first-ever Academy Award as a best supporting actor. The picture's additionally in contention for best film of the year, best adapted screenplay, and best achievement in film editing.

The guys reminisced about working on Moneyball, and Jonah reflected on a particularly awesome prank Brad pulled. They've mentioned before that Brad tricked out Jonah's golf cart with George Michael paraphernalia, but more details were disclosed to Ann. Jonah spoke about the cart, which was rigged to play the song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" when it turned on. He revealed, "If it was just that, that would be crazy. That would be annoying for me. But he also had it shrink-wrapped bright pink, like neon pink. And he had superimposed a picture of me and George Michael on the front that said, 'I'm Jonah Hill and I love Wham!' And then it had wedding noisemakers under the cart. And so I'd have a meeting with someone and I'd drive up in this insane, absurdly Liberace-style [thing]."
