Brits and non-Brits alike were out at the British Independent Film Awards in London last night. Anna Karenina star Jude Law took home the Variety Award while the drama Broken took home the top prize of best British independent film. Andrea Riseborough, who was spotted sharing a laugh with The Avengers star Tom Hiddleston, won the Best Actress award for her role in Shadow Dancer.

Felicity Jones, Tom Felton, and Elle Fanning were also on hand at the award show. Elle stole the show in a princess-like pink Oscar de la Renta gown, which was fitting for her latest role. She recently wrapped filming Disney's Maleficent, in which she plays Princess Aurora. The movie pits Elle against Angelina Jolie, who plays the villain Maleficent. Elle told us last month that she was completely starstruck by Angelina when she first met her, even silently freaking out when the A-list mom so much as touched her.

Happy birthday, Tom Felton! The Harry Potter villain we loved to hate, Draco Malfoy, turns 25 today. Clearly a child star no more, Tom is looking mighty fine these days, moving on to the next phase in his life after the film series that launched him into the spotlight has come to a close. George Clooney had lady friend Stacy Keibler on his arm last night to attend the 15th annual Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The couple are fresh off a stint in Europe, where Stacy joined George for the Paris premiere of The Ides of March and a London screening of The Descendants. She represented her favorite football team with her purple Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Stacy tweeted, "Wearing my Ravens purple to the Hollywood Film Awards. . . Will have to keep checking the score on my phone." This was another big evening for George, who accepted the Hollywood Actor Award from his Descendants costar Beau Bridges.

Many more of George's fellow actors were honored, including Michelle Williams, who looked gorgeous in a black strapless Nina Ricci number. Michelle Williams accepted the Hollywood Actress Award once the show began, and later met up with her best friend Busy Philipps. However, Michelle was solo on the red carpet, and we caught a minute with her. She flew to California from the Michigan set of Oz: The Great and Powerful, and her daughter Matilda has been there to see the filming. Michelle said of the kid-friendly picture, "This one's for Matilda." Michelle shared room on the press line with other lovely ladies like a Pucci-clad Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emma Stone in Jonathan Saunders, and Carey Mulligan in Bottega Veneta. James Franco hugged his costar Freida Pinto as he arrived at last night's LA premiere of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. James flew back to California from Detroit, where he's currently shooting Oz: The Great and Powerful, for the debut of the science-fiction film. The actor also brought a date to the event and left with his arm around the leggy redhead after completing his red-carpet duties. James announced his split from Ahna O'Reilly, his girlfriend of five years, in a new interview with Playboy. Freida, his onscreen leading lady, looked stunning in an electric green Juan Carlos Obando gown and Brian Atwood pumps. She was without her longtime boyfriend, Dev Patel, on the red carpet, but Tom Felton had two of his loved ones on hand to support his latest film — his girlfriend, Jade Gordon, and his Harry Potter costar Rupert Grint. Emma Watson changed out of her frothy Oscar de la Renta gown into a shorter, flirtier Elie Saab number and Chopard earrings for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere afterparty at Old Billingsgate Market tonight in London. She was joined by her costars Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, and engaged pair Bonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower for the soiree, where actress Emma Roberts also made a special appearance. It was a bittersweet evening for the Harry Potter cast and crew, as they celebrated the last film in the franchise. Emma, Rupert, and Daniel Radcliffe all shared some sentimental words about their experience growing up on the set of the popular movies at the debut tonight, but author J.K. Rowling and Daniel promised fans that it's not really the end, since the series will live on in their hearts.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and the extended cast of Harry Potter came together in London's Trafalgar Square today to premiere the final installment of the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Emma arrived in a beautiful floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown and raced over to greet fans and sign autographs before taking her place on the red carpet. Her best friends in the film, Rupert and Daniel, followed closely behind, also thanking fans and posing for pictures. The principle cast took the stage with J.K. Rowling and spoke to the audience of millions watching across the globe. Daniel first thanked fans and the cast and went on to say, "This isn't the end as fans will carry this story with them through the rest of their lives."

Emma then took to the podium and professed her love for her costars and especially Rupert and Daniel, saying, "Dan didn't get lucky, you were and are the perfect Harry and will be forever" and thanked "Rupert for making me laugh, I'll miss you so much," then broke down into tears before thanking J.K. for playing such a "great role model" in her life. Rupert was the final of the trio to take the mic, saying a simple "I love you" to the fans and crew and thanking J.K for everything she's done "for ginger people." It was a day full of mixed emotions for all of those involved with the franchise, and J.K. even joked, "I should write another one!" before wrapping up the event with her final words, saying, "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

Cheery Emma Watson was joined by her costars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton in London this morning for a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 photocall. It's a big week for the cast as they lead up to tomorrow night's UK premiere of their eighth and final film in the franchise. Emma graces two stateside magazine covers to promote the movie, and she candidly shared her fond memories of working on set, which costar she had a crush on, and her post-Potter project The Perks of Being a Wallflower with Seventeen magazine and also touched on what she's looking for romantically inside her July issue of Vogue.
