Eva Longoria and Tony Parker put aside their ongoing divorce to meet for lunch in LA yesterday. It was two weeks ago that Eva filed her papers in LA, and she later spoke about their separation in an interview with Mario Lopez. Tony was in LA for a game against the Clippers on Tuesday night, which brought him to California and allowed for he and Eva to meet. She's currently throwing herself back into working on the new season of Desperate Housewives as guys line up to date her, while Tony's busy with basketball. He suffered a legal setback recently, though, when his lawyer abruptly quit.

Update: Eva twittered the following statement, "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."

Eva Longoria is "devastated" but "strong" in the wake of her split with husband Tony Parker, according to her longtime best friend and Extra host, Mario Lopez. He confirmed that he spoke with Eva, who made it official by filing for divorce, seeking spousal support, and requesting that her name be returned to Eva Jacqueline Longoria from her married Eva Longoria Parker.

She told Lopez that she found "hundreds of text messages" from the wife of one of his NBA teammates, reportedly identified as Erin Barry who is going through her own divorce from fellow Spurs player Brent. There are rumors of more women who he's been keeping in touch with via Facebook. Eva has canceled her scheduled appearance at this Sunday's American Music Awards.

Rumors began circulating yesterday that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were heading for a divorce, and now it seems to be official — she filed papers today at a LA courthouse seeking to dissolve their three-year marriage.

It was just a few months ago that the couple took their regular anniversary trip to Europe, looking happy as they kissed their way around the continent. More recently, she was solo in Spain to host MTV Europe's Music Awards. He's now in the midst of a new basketball season, while she's continuing to focus on Desperate Housewives. Eva and Tony faced rumors of trouble shortly after their July 2007 wedding, and it looks as though now they've decided to pull the plug officially.
