Britney Spears was back in fine form when she hosted the Wango Tango music festival in Carson, CA, yesterday. She was joined by her former kindred X Factor judge Demi Lovato as well as performers Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Britney wore a formfitting black dress as she took the stage to introduce the acts, marking her first onstage appearance since she left The X Factor back in January. While she didn't perform this time around, Britney fans will get a chance to see the singer perform live soon as she confirmed last week that she will be taking up a residency in Las Vegas. The concert series, which will reportedly be held at Planet Hollywood, will begin in the Fall. Preparing for Sin City isn't the only thing on Britney's mind — she recently tweeted that she is reading The Goddess Inheritance, a YA novel by Aimee Carter.

Such was the case at last night's iHeartRadio 20/20 Justin Timberlake album release party, where attendees like Nikki Reed, Jordin Sparks, and Emmy Rossum celebrated JT with their own take on eventwear. Nikki made a case for the classics, keeping it easy in skinny pants and a semisheer button-up, while Jordin worked a cool-girl angle in leather pants, sexy heels, and a moto-style jacket. As for Emmy, she adopted a more ladylike approach, arriving in a sweet floral-embellished Topshop sheath and white heels. She styled her single structured peplum mini with black suede pointed pumps and teardrop earrings, then sprinkled a dash of contrasting color via red lipstick and matching nail polish. Peplum was a huge trend this year, but we particularly like the unique structure of Victoria's sunny sheath. Dylan O'Brien, otherwise known as the sidekick on Teen Wolf, is getting a chance to shine as the lead in The First Time, a teen comedy also starring The Secret Circle's Britt Robertson and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice. Dave (O'Brien) has been harboring a crush on Jane (Justice) for ages, but before he can muster up the courage to share his feelings, he gets caught practicing his profession of love by Aubrey (Robertson). Dave is taken on an entirely different path than he anticipates over the weekend, eventually falling for the very different Aubrey, but things get complicated when he meets her pretentious college boyfriend.

Confession: if I had to watch one movie genre for the rest of my life, it would be coming-of-age. And it's my love for them that makes me suspend my judgment over this seemingly trivial plot. O'Brien is adorable, and I've been a fan of Robertson since Life Unexpected, and though there's nothing about this trailer that's that original, there is a certain undeniable charm to it. The film opened at Sundance this year, and though it doesn't yet have a release date, you can watch the trailer when you read more.

The stars came out for the MTV Movie Awards red carpet at the Gibson Amphitheater in LA this evening. Nikki Reed led the pack of ladies when she arrived in a gold Randi Rahm dress with Paul McDonald by her side. Jenna Dewan also posed alongside her husband, Channing Tatum, who was nominated for best hero. Snow White and the Huntsman's Charlize Theron chose a bright red Lanvin look while her costar Kristen Stewart went with a metallic Guishem mini as they celebrated the successful opening weekend of their fairy-tale project.

Presenter Emma Stone, in a Martin Grant skirt and top, posed for pictures solo, and Emma Watson, who also took the stage, wore a printed number by Brood. Jessica Biel went with white Chanel as she preps for her possible Summer wedding. There were many more fun looks on the carpet including nominee Elizabeth Banks in a black Elie Saab jumpsuit and presenter Leighton Meester in a light Christian Cota ensemble.
