January Jones and Kevin Bacon are gearing up for tomorrow's release of X-Men: First Class, and both were in NYC last week to talk all about prepping for their roles in the Summer blockbuster. Kevin admitted to being surprised at landing a role as a villain in the film, while January discussed the skimpy costumes her role required. Pregnant January Jones also touched on how she's getting ready for motherhood — check it out below!
Which June Movie Release Are You Most Excited to See?
Movie fans, rejoice: the Summer is finally here, and it's bringing a slew of anticipated movies along with warmer temperatures. Since school's out, we've got plenty of kiddie fare like Jim Carrey's Mr. Popper's Penguins, but there's also a couple of potential blockbusters (Green Lantern!) and indie fare as well. Which June movie release are you most excited about?

James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender Hug It Out Alongside January and Zoe
January Jones joined her X-Men: First Class costars in NYC this morning for a promotional stop by The Today Show. The foursome sat down with Matt Lauer to chat about their prequel, which opens nationwide June 3, and even shared what superpowers they would like to have; January, Zoe Kravitz, and James McAvoy chose the power of flight while Michael Fassbender joked he'd like to be able to grow a tail. The stars stepped out together last night for the film's Big Apple premiere, with Kevin Bacon, Lucas Till, and Rose Byrne joining the posse for photos. They were still missing a few key members of the all-star cast, since Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult weren't able to attend. January was decked out in an asymmetrical dress for the a.m. interview after rocking a Preen ensemble last night, though she introduced a particularly sexy maternity style when she wore a sheer shirt back in LA earlier this week.
Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Pregnant January Jones Dress Up to Show Off X-Men
The stars of X-Men: First Class rolled up to their premiere at NYC's Ziegfeld Theatre last night in a collection of vintage cars, perfect for the blockbuster set back in the '60s. Leading men Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were dapper on the carpet following a long day of work at their press junket — stay tuned next week for our chat with the guys! January Jones covered up her baby bump in a blue and black Preen dress while Zoe Kravitz supported her longtime pal Alexander Wang in a gray velvet maxi. The cast was rounded out by Rose Byrne, Lucas Till, and Kevin Bacon, who fit a stop by The Late Show between afternoon interviews at the evening's screening. Rumored couple Zoe Kravitz and Michael Fassbender kept their distance on the carpet, posting with their many costars in between. The movie actually brought together another duo, since Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are apparently dating now, too! Jennifer and Nicholas, though, weren't able to attend yesterday's event. The X-Men family connections keep coming, with Zoe's dad Lenny now set to star in The Hunger Games with Jennifer.

Buzz Backtrack: The Best and Worst of February Entertainment
February may be the shortest month on the calendar, but it definitely didn't feel that way. The past few weeks have been jam-packed with movie trailers, new music, and multiple award shows. I'm still catching my breath, but as we kick off March, take a look back at February's entertainment highs and lows!
X-Men: First Class Trailer Has Arrived, and It's Awesome
All I can say is: hell yeah! The X-Men: First Class trailer is finally here, and it's out to show all of the comic book films exactly how it's done. The prequel to the X-Men franchise follows the early days of Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as they learn how to channel their powers (and before their abilities cause a rift between them). But they're obviously not alone in their fight; the preview also highlights a young Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), and Emma Frost (January Jones), along with the rest of the esteemed cast.

This trailer is everything a good trailer should be: suspenseful, sexy, and most importantly, it leaves me craving more. As much as I love the other X-Men movies, it's exciting to see a set of fresh faces taking on the mutants we've come to love (or love to hate). The movie hits on June 3, but take a look after the jump.
Guess Who Said It
Guess which Mad Men star said this about prepping for an upcoming movie role:
". . . I didn’t want to go into a strict workout and eating regime. I would have disappeared entirely, and she’s very busty, very voluptuous, so I didn’t want to get rid of any of my curves."

January Jones Sees Double on the X-Men Set
January Jones wore a white fur hat and go-go boots on the set of X Men: First Class this morning in Buckinghamshire, England. The Mad Men actress was joined by an identically dressed stunt double as she filmed sky-high action scenes in a helicopter. The retro outfit January sported at work today was a big change from her fashion-forward Emmys look and the glamorous gown she wore in a recent issue of Rolling Stone. She graced the magazine's cover with her TV costars Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, and Jon Hamm, who's currently off tending to his own big-screen career. He's also in Europe this week, promoting his upcoming movie The Town at the Venice Film Festival.
