Reese Witherspoon braved the rain in LA on Saturday to do some last-minute holiday shopping at Ralph Lauren, and yesterday she joined boyfriend Jim Toth for a similarly wet trek to the Brentwood Country Mart. It was a weekend of lying low for Reese following a month of jetting between the Vancouver set of This Means War and the East Coast to promote her new movie How Do You Know. Her James L. Brooks-directed comedy, also starring Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd, failed to do great business at the box office, however — it didn't crack the top five, and with only $7.6 million in revenues, it fell significantly behind number one film Tron. Buzz liked the movie despite its lackluster performance, but we're all looking forward to her next big project. Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z grabbed lunch Tuesday at a cafe in Sydney. The duo are enjoying a few weeks Down Under while he's on tour with U2, and their time away from the US also coincided with his 40th birthday. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were abroad to mark Thanksgiving while away from their families, though her mother, Tina, acknowledged that they're starting to make new traditions. Jay's finding time for hangouts with Beyoncé between shows, which hopefully means there's more adorable coupledom to come in 2011.

The actress has been doing double duty lately, as she's also been spending long hours on the set of Jack & Jill with costar Adam Sandler. Katie's also cementing her stylish mom status with shopping trips and visits to her gym, as she wraps up her family's latest jet-setting year.

The pair, who dated for over ten years but broke up in 2000, have remained close friends, and it seems he's comforting her now that her split from husband Arun Nayar has become public. Liz apparently has found a new love in cricket player Shane Warne, who also announced that he's been apart from his wife for some time. Liz is currently sticking to her routine in the city while Arun hangs out at the home in the Cotswolds, though she twittered that he'll always be a part of her son Damian's life. She's heading into the holidays with both Hugh and Damian by her side, and recently got into the Christmas spirit by watching her son sing carols.

He had a celebratory meal after getting nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in Love and Other Drugs, and while the honor is exciting, it's still his relationship with Taylor Swift that's grabbing headlines. The duo are already one of the year's cutest new couples and are apparently comfortable stepping out in public, though Jake insists he's not rushing into anything. He did, however, give her an expensive guitar as an impressive 21st birthday gift. It'll be Jake's turn to receive presents this weekend when he turns the big 3-0, but we'll have to wait and see how Taylor plans on topping his gesture.

The GQ cover star has been racking up the frequent-flier miles promoting the movie before it opens later this month, traveling from LA on to the Big Apple and now over to Europe. All the hard work has proved to be worth it with Ryan's Golden Globe nomination, which ranks among the nods you're most excited to see.

Joshua Jackson braved a chilly night on the set of Fringe in Vancouver yesterday. The actor, who's in the running for your favorite male of 2010, has been shooting the new season of the show in Canada in recent months. During his time away from production, though, he's focused on jet-setting with his always fashionable girlfriend, Diane Kruger. The couple spent time together over his Thanksgiving break before heading to Paris to sit in the front row at Chanel's pre-Fall show.
