In The Host, Max Irons's and Jake Abel's characters compete for the love of two different women — who happen to be trapped in one body. We sat down with the actors at a recent press day for the film, based on a novel by Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer, to talk about the movie's romantic entanglements. Max and Jake also told us about the intimidating audition process and what they learned about their competition for the leading-man roles. The Host hits theaters today. On Lindsay: Sea dress.
Diane Kruger got literal support from Joshua Jackson when he guided his girlfriend to the Host screening at The Cinema Society in NYC yesterday. She wore a black Chanel dress and sky-high Christian Louboutin boots, which may have been part of the reason Joshua needed to walk her to the premiere. Diane was joined at the screening by her costars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, and Jake Abel, as well as the author of the book the film is based on, Stephenie Meyer. Other NYC celebrities also attended the big event, including Olivia Palermo and Kelly Rutherford.
Diane has been busy with promotional duties for her newest film and Joshua has been staying by her side through her whole tour. He walked the red carpet with her at the LA premiere of The Host and took her on a dinner date in NYC earlier this week. Diane's duties aren't over just yet, as she'll also be appearing on Good Morning America today to chat about the new flick.
The Host stars Max Irons and Jake Abel find their characters in an unusual situation in the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel: they're in love with two women who are sharing one body (Saoirse Ronan). I sat down with the two actors to find out how they describe their predicament, and they shared a funny and slightly dirty-sounding answer. Irons also addressed whether he's interested in ever working with his dad and fellow actor, Jeremy Irons. Watch Irons and Abel's interview before The Host is released this weekend.
Joshua Jackson showed support for Diane Kruger when he attended the premiere of her new film, The Host, in LA last night. Diane wore a sheer black dress by Thakoon and Jimmy Choo shoes as she posed on the red carpet with Joshua and later met up with costars Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons. The movie, which hits theaters on March 29, is based on the novel of the same name by Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer. Diane has been doing quite a bit of press for her new flick, including covering the latest issue of Flare magazine and attending a Host book signing last weekend. She showed midriff in a Carven top at the literary event after going casual in pink pants for errands. Diane's style has garnered plenty of fans, including Brad Goreski, who recently confessed that she's his "style crush."
