Sofia Vergara put her killer curves on display when she hit the blue carpet at the USA upfronts in NYC yesterday. She was joined at the bash by her Modern Family costars Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet, as well as USA stars like Matthew Bomer and Suits' Patrick J. Adams. Sofia and her castmates were at the USA event to celebrate the syndication of the show's old episodes on the cable network, which will begin on Sept. 24. Meanwhile, new episodes of Modern Family will continue to run on ABC.

Sofia has another big event to plan for — her upcoming wedding with fiancé Nick Loeb. She revealed in this month's issue of Cosmopolitan that she isn't going to plan a big splash event for the nuptials. Sofia told the magazine, "He was already married with a big wedding and I was already married with a big wedding, so we're going to do something but not right now."

Scarlett Johansson had a big night in NYC yesterday when she hit the red carpet to celebrate the opening of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Richard Rodgers Theater. She wore a black Dolce & Gabbana outfit after taking the stage in character for her second-ever Broadway run, following her 2010 appearance in A View From the Bridge. Scarlett's turn as Maggie is getting great reviews.

Scarlett had plenty of support in the audience with White Collar's Matt Bomer, Nick Jonas, as well as Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz all stepping out for the performance. Daniel and Rachel are back on the East Coast after they made a glamorous stop at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Ian Somerhalder looked sexy in a suit as he posed for photos on his way into tonight's People's Choice Awards in LA. Although he didn't have girlfriend Nina Dobrev by his side, Ian did link up with pal Matt Bomer on the red carpet. It is a special day for the Nina and Ian — Nina celebrated her 24th birthday today! Both Ian and Nina are up for awards for their roles in The Vampire Diaries, and the series is also nominated for favorite TV fan following. Magic Mike closed out the LA Film Festival on Sunday. The handsome cast — including Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matthew Bomer, and Alex Pettyfer — all gathered to hit the red carpet together. Channing had wife Jenna Dewan along as his date, and she tweeted a cute picture of themselves heading to the afterparty. Matthew and Camila Alves McConaughey made their debut as a married couple after tying the knot in Texas earlier this month. Camila chatted with their friend, and Matthew's agent, Jim Toth, though his wife, Reese Witherspoon, spent the weekend getting her own honors in Chicago. Magic Mike hits theaters next Friday, so hopefully we'll be seeing even more of these guys this week as they promote the R-rated movie before its release.

The sexy actors in Magic Mike have to show off a good amount of skin to play male strippers in the movie, out later this month. And one of the sexy men in question, Matt Bomer, dished that the stripped-down scenes required a lot of manscaping. He said, "We all had to go there. I'm not going to say it was fun, and personally I will never do it again, but for that project it was necessary. We were all in the boat together." We must admit, the painful waxing paid off, the Magic Mike fellas look mighty fine showing off their hairless bods.

We've seen a lot of manscaping trends over the years, but one of the most surprising would have to be the male-version of the Brazilian. Women are no longer the only ones going through the pain of waxing their undercarriage. According to the New York Times, men are now getting bikini waxes and "boyzilians." One waxing salon mentioned even says 70 percent of its weekly business comes from guys. Besides the obvious question of how a man's bits and pieces are waxed (it seems like a dubious task), you may wonder why men would go through the torture of waxing the area around their member — but, of course, it has to do with the "enlarging effect" a bare down-there has. Apparently it's a sort of optical illusion, with one salon director saying, "It accentuates it, because there's nothing to obscure the, you know, implement down there."
