Michelle Pfeiffer and Zac Efron form an unlikely duo in New Year's Eve. Michelle plays a reserved receptionist and Zac is a smooth-talking bike messenger whose paths happen to collide on the holiday, but this isn't the first time the pair have teamed up on the big screen. They also costarred in Hairspray a few years ago, and when we caught up with them at the recent press day for their latest film, Zac admitted to feeling a little nervous around Michelle back then. This time, however, he played a big role in pulling his leading lady out of her shell with a scene they improv'd at the last minute! Check out our interview to hear about the cute moment and catch New Year's Eve when it hits theaters on Dec. 9.
Lea Michele spends much of New Year's Eve trapped in an elevator with Ashton Kutcher, but the Glee star also gets a chance to belt out a tune with none other than Bon Jovi. We caught up with the actress at the recent press day for the film in Beverly Hills, where she dished on seeing Ashton next-to-naked on the set, and on her impressive duet partner. We also asked her about the rumors that she will star in an upcoming big-screen adaptation of Les Misérables. Watch our interview with Lea and check out New Year's Eve when it hits theaters on Dec. 9!
Halle Berry arrived to work on New Year's Eve today in NYC wearing hospital scrubs and aviator sunglasses. Meanwhile, Gabriel Aubry and Nahla went on a walk together in Manhattan. Halle and Gabriel appear to be coparenting despite their ongoing custody battle, which led to her giving up her first role in the film. She landed another one when she and Gabriel worked out a deal for him to come along to help take care of Nahla. The actress joined her costars Zac Efron and Michelle Pfeiffer, who have already been shooting the movie in Manhattan this month. Halle made her way east after attending this weekend's NAACP Image Awards in LA in a sexy, slit Pucci dress. She was also one of Fab's picks for best dressed on the red carpet at the Oscars. In fact, Chuck star Zachary Levi told us he had to remind himself not to stare right at Halle when he took the stage to sing with Mandy Moore at the Academy Awards!
Zac Efron rode around the set New Year's Eve in NYC yesterday. He plays a bike messenger in the film and joined one of his costars Michelle Pfeiffer to shoot scenes in the city. The pair are just two of the big names who are signed on for the project. Sienna Miller, Sofia Vergara, and Sarah Jessica Parker are also among the cast. Halle Berry just snapped up another part in the film after her custody battle caused her first one to be handed off to Katherine Heigl. Zac made his way to Manhattan earlier this week to start work on the new movie after spending a few days preparing for the athletic role by focusing on his fitness in LA.
