Dakota Fanning wore a sequined Stella McCartney gown at last night's London premiere of Now Is Good. While chatting with press, Dakota talked about her Stella dress, saying, "I picked this dress because I thought I should wear a British designer, since this is a British film and I'm here in London." She was joined on the red carpet by costars Jeremy Irvine, Kaya Scodelario, and Olivia Williams. Based on Jenny Downham's novel Before I Die, Now Is Good features Dakota as a young cancer patient determined to live her life to the fullest. Up next, Dakota is sharing the big screen with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner in the Twilight franchise's final installment, Breaking Dawn Part 2, due out Nov. 16.

Now Is Good Trailer: Dakota Fanning Has Jeremy Irvine on Her Bucket List

Dakota Fanning is all grown up now, which means it's time for her requisite weepy teen romance movie.

Dakota Fanning is all grown up now, which means it's time for her requisite weepy teen romance movie. In Now Is Good, Fanning plays 17-year-old Tessa, who learns she is dying of leukemia and sets out to do "as much as she can as fast as she can." That includes doing drugs, breaking the law, and a relationship with Adam (Jeremy Irvine), a boy who is sweet enough to stand by her side and help enrich her final experiences. Oh, and did I mention that Fanning has a British accent?

Though the movie looks like a ton of others you've seen before, I'm still enjoying getting used to seeing Fanning as an adult actress. Plus, I'm glad to see War Horse's Irvine popping up in more films, since he seems like one to watch. Watch the trailer and see for yourself when you read more

Dakota Fanning stepped out yesterday on the set of her latest movie Now Is Good with a shockingly short new 'do. Dakota plays a young woman dying of leukemia in the film, and whether the haircut is her own or simply a wig she's sporting for the role, it was a big departure from her usual longer blond locks. Dakota wouldn't be the first young Hollywood celebrity with a pixie cut. Emma Watson, Michelle Williams, Ginnifer Goodwin and Carey Mulligan are just a few actresses who have gone under the scissors and worn the style for movie parts and personal preference. Dakota revealed the new look as she got to work this week following a trip to NYC last month to check out colleges. The actress, who graduated from high school in early June, is reportedly set on going to a Big Apple university when school starts in the Fall.
