Kristen Stewart teamed up with Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst, and Sam Riley at the NYC premiere of On the Road last night. Kristen chose another sheer look, this time a blue Erdem outfit, while Kirsten went neutral in Christian Dior. The costars posed for photos on their way into the screening, which was just the latest in a string of press events for the film. Kristen, Garrett, and Kirsten met up Wednesday for a special screening after Kristen and Garrett returned from a promotional trip to the West Coast. It's all leading up to the movie's limited release on Dec. 21.

Patti, who is adapting her bestselling memoir Just Kids for the screen, recently revealed that she would like to cast Kristen and Robert Pattinson to play herself and photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in the film version of the book. She said, "I remember the very first time I saw Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson together, when they were younger, and I thought, Those two kids could have easily played us when they were first starting."

They got together for another screening in LA on Thursday after Kristen dressed up for an appearance at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' fourth annual Governors Awards last weekend. Her schedule isn't slowing down either, since Kristen is expected to attend the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy fund-raiser at Madison Square Garden next week.

Also out for the evening were producer Francis Ford Coppola and his son Roman, who posed for pictures with Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza. Kristen and Garrett have been busy talking up their big-screen adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel recently. Last week, they both attended the Variety studio to chat about the picture.

On the Road just got a limited release date of Dec. 21 for NYC. It will be in two theaters, the Lincoln Plaza Cinema and the IFC Center, on that date. Kristen recently got an early holiday present thanks to her big year of filmmaking — she ranked on The Hollywood Reporter's list of the most powerful women in Hollywood.
