>> CNN: Revealed, which has featured Carine Roitfeld, Liya Kebede, and Diane von Furstenberg in the past, focuses on Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana this month. The 30 minute video profile follows the designers through two seasons of menswear and captures them in between, relaxing at their home in Portofino.

Although the two haven't been romantically involved since 2005, they consistently stress throughout the video special how well they continue to complement each other. "I don't talk to anyone," Dolce quips, "And he talks to everybody." As longtime brand model David Gandy puts it: "[Stefano] sort of looks after the visuals and the branding, and Domenico is more in charge of styling and the shows. So they're very different. One has a very dry sense of humor and the other is more hands-on and in the limelight."

Dolce also mentions their humble beginnings: "We produced the first womenswear Dolce & Gabbana show alone. We organised it in one small studio, we didn't have money to pay the models so we asked all our friends to come. We didn't have money for shoes and bags so all the people used their personal accessories. For the curtain we attached the sheet I had bought for my house, but it was too short and beneath it you could see people's feet."

Fab Ad: D&G Goes Skiing For Fall '10

While we bask in the Summer sun, take a quick moment to feel the chill of D&G's Fall ad campaign.

While we bask in the Summer sun, take a quick moment to feel the chill of D&G's Fall ad campaign. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana hired a gaggle of gorgeous male and female models, dressed them up in the chicest of gear, albeit not ski-friendly, and snapped away, while they froze away. Although it's crazy to stand in snowy 'scapes in sheer clothes, I love the idea of fusing ready-to-wear with ski-wear. It's insanely cool — the oversize goggles, skis, and boots are playing nice with ruffles, knits, and suits. Do you agree?

>> Naomi Campbell may be having issues due to an alleged diamond gift from Liberia's former president Charles Taylor, but she had no problem accepting gifts on Saturday for her 40th birthday — there were reportedly so many, they had to be be ferried back on multiple boat trips to her boyfriend Vladimir Doronin's yacht.

Doronin planned a rumored $1 million black panther-themed bash for the model (after her favorite animal) at the Hotel du Cap near Cannes, which included a 45-minute set by The Black Eyed Peas. P. Diddy and Tyson Beckford gave tributes during dinner, which saw Campbell seated at a revolving center table. Later, guests like John Galliano, Georgina Chapman, Lorenzo Martone, Edward Eninnful, Bethann Hardison, Shala Monroque, Hamish Bowles, Christy Turlington, Eva Herzigova, Grace Jones, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, and Giovanna Battaglia hit the dance floor — where Marc Jacobs supposedly challenged Jennifer Lopez to a walk off.

At midnight, the music stopped so guests could sing "Happy Birthday," and a three tier cake was brought out; Doronin gave a speech, calling Naomi his "wild woman" and his "great love." Speaking of which, the model has been wearing a large emerald ring — sparking rumors — but her reps deny an engagement and Doronin remains married to his estranged wife.

>> It's not often that a designer graces the cover of a magazine, but in celebration of a decade since its launch, 10 magazine wrangled ten "fashion gods" for ten separate covers — each photographed by the lensman of their choice. Alber Elbaz, Azzedine Alaia, Donatella Versace, John Galliano, and Tom Ford round out the rest of the designers featured.

>> As suspected, it appears that Madonna is back as the Fall 2010 face of Dolce & Gabbana — she was snapped shooting for the brand yesterday in Harlem. The singer, who has a line of sunglasses coming out with Dolce & Gabbana next month, was originally reported to be filming a commercial with Steven Klein for the brand, but based on Stefano Gabbana's stream of tweets yesterday, it seems that the campaign was part of the deal, as well: "I'm going on the set of woman campaign..... Stefano Gabbana Would Love to be Given a "Really Big Part" By a "Famous Movie Director"

>> Did Tom Ford open up a serious crossbreeding frenzy between fashion and film?

>> Did Tom Ford open up a serious crossbreeding frenzy between fashion and film? Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce make their second film appearance — if only a cameo — as priests in the upcoming Nine, but Gabbana doesn't want his film career to end there, he tells WWD:

Many people ask us to do little parts in movies, and it depends on the time. Domenico is not so comfortable because he’s really shy, but I love it. My dream when I was young was to become a movie actor. I never studied acting, but I did a TV program five years ago. I was a guest many times on TV, and I have my program on the radio [for the popular Radio DJ Italia]. And I do many advertisements on TV: for cars, for ice cream [Cornetto Algida]. The last three years, I’ve made three commercials for [car company] Lancia.

But he doesn't delude himself: "My career is fashion designer. If you want to make something really well, you need to spend a lot of time. I don’t have a lot of time to make movies or act. I would love [to], but it depends. Maybe a famous movie director [will] offer me a really big part. You never know."

First Look: Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010

>> This week's Vanity Fair Italia has a peek at Madonna's ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana's Sicilian-inspired Spring 2010 collection. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, longtime fans of the singer who said at the time of the Italian cinama-influenced shoot last month — “to have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true” — told the magazine of their choice: "She loved the collection . . . She is passionate and impressively knowledgeable about Italian cinema."

Steven Klein captured Madonna in New York washing dishes, eating spaghetti; Vanity Fair Italia prompted Gabbana about the pictures, asking if Madonna knew how to wash dishes — "Certainly . . . she's a very practical woman" — and whether she actually eats spaghetti — "Of course, and she can allow herself to with all the exercise she does!"

Christopher Kane Joins the Ranks of Designers Scared of Bloggers

>> Designers are really starting to sound off on bloggers — Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been plastered all over the place after seating four bloggers in their Spring 2010 front row; Gabbana told the Wall Street Journal: "It's the future.

>> Designers are really starting to sound off on bloggers — Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been plastered all over the place after seating four bloggers in their Spring 2010 front row; Gabbana told the Wall Street Journal: "It's the future. How many young customers don't read newspapers — they read blogs!"  Alber Elbaz recently admitted that he's "really scared of bloggers," and it sounds like Christopher Kane tends to agree. He told Vogue UK:

“It’s a bit mad, isn’t it? It feels like it’s happened all of a sudden and at some shows this season the front row was just all bloggers. I think it will die down though, and people know what they are doing. No one who wants to read a serious review of a show is going to look at what a 14-year-old thinks. But it has become more critical; people can say what they want about anyone on a blog without consequences and that’s quite scary. There are real repercussions for a designer if a photo of something is leaked by a blog; it can be copied in a fortnight and that can really harm a business. You have to be much more careful now.”
