Sarah Jessica Parker grabbed lunch in NYC yesterday after making the morning-show rounds to chat about her film, Did You Head About the Morgans? She stopped by Live With Regis and Kelly and the Today show, where she talked about her disgust at the state of Hugh Grant's nails — check out both of those interviews below. She also had time to tape an interview for The Early Show that aired this morning. It's been a busy week for SJP between Monday's premiere and sitting down with David Letterman, we'll see if her hard work pays off at the weekend box office for the film Buzz thinks isn't breaking any new ground.

Golden Globe Nominee Anna's Up Early to Talk Movies

Anna Kendrick had her hands full yesterday on her way out of The Early Show in NYC — check out her interview after the jump.

Anna Kendrick had her hands full yesterday on her way out of The Early Show in NYC — check out her interview after the jump. She sat down just as she heard news of her Golden Globe nomination, though she was quick to say she's not setting herself up for any Oscars expectations. She's in the final stretch of promoting Up in the Air before it hits theaters on Christmas, and today's itinerary included a stop at The View. The ladies were quick to congratulate Anna on being up for the Best Supporting Actress award, though she revealed she's an old pro when it comes to being nominated — she was up for a Tony at age 12 after a stint on Broadway in a play called High Society.

Cameron Diaz was up bright and early for another morning of promoting My Sister's Keeper, this time stopping by The Early Show with her costar Sofia Vassilieva. The ladies discussed their roles in the tearjerker, but last night at the NYC red carpet premiere, Cameron was ready to talk about her next project. She shared her excitement about working with Tom Cruise again and how much she loved getting her Walk of Fame star with Tom and Katie watching earlier this week. Tomorrow we'll see Cameron in My Sister's Keeper, but first here's a brand new preview of her scary movie The Box, which is out in October.

Neil Patrick Harris Tries the Gosselin 'Do on For Size

Seems like we're not the only ones obsessed with Kate Gosselin's reverse mullet.

Seems like we're not the only ones obsessed with Kate Gosselin's reverse mullet. Or momhawk/hedgehog ‘do.

The folks over at The Early Show, while interviewing How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris (who hosted the 63rd annual Tony Awards last night), managed to sneak in a reference to her hair. They showed him what he'd look like with the cut. I mean, NPH is super-cute, but no one, absolutely no one, would look good with the Tellum.

Susan Boyle: Never Been Kissed . . .

. . . but touched by the singing angels.

. . . but touched by the singing angels. When Britain's Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle of Blackburn, Scotland, recently sauntered onto the stage in front of the terrifying panel of judges and the snarky-faced audience, she looked like someone's cute but dowdy aunt.

It didn't help the audience's perception of her that underneath her name were two words that together painted a grim picture of her life: 47, unemployed. (Why not add "spinster" while you're at it, guys?)

But Susan's transporting voice stunned even the usually poker-faced Simon, and the other judge, Piers, was visibly choking up and beaming from her heavenly voice. As for the skeptical audience? They could not stop roaring with approval. It turns out that Susan, who admitted backstage before her performance that she'd never been kissed, had dedicated the performance to her mother who recently died. Here's the cheeky and wonderful Susan on The Early Show, but if you really want to see her in action, watch her full performance after the break. Go, Susan! I bet you can't watch it without choking up! So read more

Jessica Simpson was on The Early Show this morning in Nashville to help announce the Academy of Country Music Awards — video of the announcement after the jump — and perform her new single "Pray Out Loud." She had nothing but good things to say about touring with Rascal Flatts, which includes "lots of hugs . . . Texas style." When asked how she's been doing over the past few weeks, Jessica answered, "Honestly, I am right where I'm supposed to be. I am so very, very happy. Everything's really great. It's all about keeping the faith." Jess has been looking amazing and keeping her head up despite all of the drama and was spotted out drinking beers with Tony Romo after her rough show last week. She's also going full steam ahead with her successful brand adding a jewelry line and a bedding and luggage collection.

Seriously, You Can Make Salmon in Your Dishwasher

Kym Douglas and Cindy Pearlman, authors of The Black Book of Hollywood Diet Secrets, appeared on The Early Show this morning to give away some of their secrets.

Kym Douglas and Cindy Pearlman, authors of The Black Book of Hollywood Diet Secrets, appeared on The Early Show this morning to give away some of their secrets. While they mostly spilled the beans on diet tips, there was one thing that stood out to me: dishwasher salmon. That's right I said dishwasher. You just seal the fish up in foil, toss it in the dishwasher and let it go. The steam, along with a waste of power and water, cooks it through. Just be sure you don't use any soap.

If you think this sounds totally wacko then I should let you know that this is not the first time this has been done. Bob Blumer, aka The Surreal Gourmet, has poached salmon in more than 100 dishwashers on three continents. His recipe actually looks pretty good and comes complete with a piquant sauce. I don't know if I can actually endorse this method, it seems like a waste of energy, but I do think it would be fun to tell your guests you made it in the dishwasher. If you want to try it yourself, get his recipe when you read more
