With 1 Tweet About Selena Gomez, Britney Spears Just Sent You Into a Spiral of Excitement

Grab on to something, because Britney Spears is toying with your emotions right now. The "Make Me" singer just announced to the world that she'd love to collaborate with Selena Gomez — could you imagine what a glorious event that would be?

It all started when the Twitter account for Selena's official fan club shared a video from the "Revival" singer's Snapchat, in which she makes reference to having a duet with Britney, saying, "Well babe, technically I have done a duet with Britney. It came out today, called 'Hands,' buy it!" Selena is, of course, talking about a new track released to benefit the victims of the tragic shooting in Orlando, FL, last month, featuring not only Selena and Britney but also Prince Royce, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, and more.

But since most likely Selena and Britney never saw each other while recording the charitable tune, Britney took the opportunity to officially put in a request for a collaboration, tweeting: "Technically, yes... But when are we working on our actual duet @selenagomez?" And now we're having palpitations.
