Prince Royce is gearing up for the release of his first album in English, on sale July 24, and in this behind-the-scenes video, he's giving fans the inside scoop on the making of the record. The singer opened up about why he wanted to name the album Double Vision, saying, "I was born and raised in New York City. My parents are from the Dominican Republic. I was very attached to the Latin community — the language, the music, the food — but I was also very attached to America and the music and growing up in New York City." He goes on to say he grew up having "two different perspectives — one in English, one in Spanish — two different cultures," but that he feels just as American as he feels Latin and wanted to show that with the name of his first English launch.
