An advertising agency has come up with a way to "reinvent milk" for consumers: its familiar "Got Milk?" campaign will be joined with the scent of chocolate chip cookies at bus shelters in San Francisco.
Usually the locale for less pleasant smells like "Eau d'Urine" and "Odor de Body," the bus shelter will be affixed with scent-infused adhesive strips. Asthmatics, who are sensitive to artificial scents, aren't the only ones suspicious of these new ads. When asked what she thought about a cookie-scented bus shelter, one sixteen-year-old responded, "It's going to smell like cookies and bums." Mmm, mmm, good!
