Al Gore to Endorse Obama
After remaining neutral throughout the Democratic primary season, former Vice President Al Gore is officially backing Barack Obama's presidential run, and will appear with him at a Michigan campaign event Monday night. Gore said, "from now through Election Day, I intend to do whatever I can to make sure he is elected President of the United States."

Did he seem to rush the speech, like he had a car running outside?

LOL Well until that time...(the threaded comments I mean) Have a cocktail on me. :cocktail: And I think I'll have a baked Pene and garden salad for dinner. ;)

I'm not opposed to veering off-topic. I'm not a topic-monster. I'm just lobbying for threaded comments (also called nested comments, the kind they have on livejournal). That way, our discussion of what year in time you'd like to travel to in order to make out with Al Gore would be one thread whereas the discussion of what the heck took him so long would be another. Some of these posts get more than 300 comments, making it very difficult to follow any kind of conversation. That problem is only exacerbated when one comment is about the post, the next about some other issue related to someone mentioned in the post, and the next about making dinner. To be honest I did hesitate, though, wanting to stay on topic as much as possible. I suppose Al Gore has that effect on me?

He's certainly has attractive qualities: he is powerful, he is smart, and he is a Democrat. He also seems funny and is passionate about environmental causes. I'd probably prefer Al Gore circa 1992 for a Saturday night date, but I can see it.

This is news? Were we not sure Al Gore would get behind the party's nominee?
