That is where this boy I met at a high school dance comes in. His name is Mitt Romney and you should really get to know him. Ann Romney takes the Republican National Convention stage to tell of her love for her husband, Mitt. Hey guys, I'm Karli Melane here and heartfelt words for the women in the audience and later we talk to Jon Voight about how his Jolie-Pitt grandchildren influenced his political choices. It's all in today's PopSugar Rush. I love you women and I hear your voices. Ann Romney directed much of her speech during day one of her Republican National Convention at the women in the crowd, whom she believes would benefit from her husband's administration. Our own TresSugar editor Annie Scudder was in the audience on Tuesday and she joins us now from Florida via Skype. Hey, Annie. Hey, Karli. 20-minute speech, and she really focused on her love of her husband of 43 years. She also managed to touch on the tough economy, but she steered clear of reproductive rights, so well, how do you think she did overall? Well, Ann really wowed the crowd when she came out in her bright red dress and a big smile. And there was a really sweet moment at the end of the speech when Mitt came out to join her. Many of the delegates I spoke to said that was really a highlight for them, and I think when Ann and Mitt are together, they still seem like high schoolers in love and their strong marriage could only help Mitt's favorability rating. Other top women also took the stage including rising stars Nikki Haley and Mia Love, who was a huge crowd-pleaser, but I understand there was one woman off stage who also got a lot of attention. Definitely, so during Rick Santorum's speech, which talked a lot about the pro-life platform, there was a woman in the crowd shouting really loudly, "Stop the war on women!" and other protests and it went on for quite awhile until security came and took her away. Obviously, a lot of opinions are being shared over there including those of actor Jon Voight who is a Mitt Romney supporter. What did he tell you about his personal politics and his famous family? So I asked him how he would grade the Obama administration and he said he had to give them an F. He also said that he believes the Romney Administration would provide a better future for his grandchildren , the Jolie-Pitt kids. Well, let's hear his thoughts in his own words. I want my grandchildren to have the pride in America and the freedom in America and the prosperity in America that I experienced.
